Lennox fought old Holyfield and shot to hell Tyson. Had he faced them earlier he would have gotten sparked. Heck, he was scared to engage with old Holyfield for christ sakes.

Nope. Everything improved since 90s. Today's scene would definitely not be just a joke for Lewis. It would push him more than it actually did in the time he fought.

    Umm no.
Take Mercer, Ruddock, Tyson, Bowe, Lewis, Holyfield, Foreman (and any one of say...Cooper, Holmes, Morrison, Bruno to make eight) from the nineties, bring them forward in your time machine and along with the Klitschko's you'd get, in one order or another, any sane person's top ten.

    :rofl

He was clearly scared of Lewis. And for good reason. And by the way one win don't mean ****. Unless you rate Buster Douglas as some kind of HOF'er for the same reason.

Ancient Lewis busted Vitali up. You need to deal with this. It matters not one tinyt bit what the scores read at that time. Vitali was on the way to getting ktfo. The fact Lewis busted his face up saved him from possible serious injury. :deal

With his size, athleticism, power and intelligence Lennox would be a tough proposition for any HW in any era! I'd have him down as favourite in just about any match up

How anyone can have Wlad at 50/50 when he has a pathetic chin is beyond me, he might be able to hide his china chin behind his jab against the tomato cans on his record but against a top line HW from history he'd get caught, against Lewis he'd be lucky to see the end of the 2nd round, See Ruddock/Grant/Galota as a reference to how and why

Agree w/the first part. In fact I'd go further and say that LL would be a near lock to defeat any 1980s and prior HW. He'd be favored over most/all HWs post 1980s. In short he may be the best all time, w/the K bros just behind if not equal :p

Disagree w/the 2nd part. LL and WK are actually relatively similar. Both are big, mobile, heavy handed HWs with mediocre chins - I don't accept that either have "glass" jaws. You can even debate that Wlad has as good if not better punch resistance than LL. Rahmen laid out LL w/one shot. Sure that punch could've stopped most any HW, but some would have beat the count. LL-WK is a near 50-50 fight, I might give LL a slight edge. As someone has already posted - what if Wlad finds LLs jaw/chin first? :think

The current and last 10 year era (Wlad's era, in other words) is the poorest the hw's have seen in decades, if not ever, and everybody knows it.
