My only guess is that they feel just like the rest of us, that Pacquiao is using PEDs, and they don't want their hero, who they've invested so much in, emotionally and some financially (posters, figurines, fake autographed boxing gloves). Philipines don't have much of national celebrities, so it would be catastrophic is Pac was exposed.

Conte is NOT involved in testing athletes. He has adviced USADA and VADA on what he knows but in no way will he ever be allowed to actually test athletes.

You do know that fighters pick the color of their gloves and there are usually like more than 6 pair on a table for the fighters to try on and see how they feel. Those were just some shiny ass gloves that actually look pretty damn sweet and is probably the reason they picked them. Did Floyd or Canelo make a fuss over it? No they didn't bc they have nothing to do with manufacturing gloves brah. Besides it was just the seem of the glove that was the problem. :-(

Victor Conte is not even a pharmacist or chemist. He is a musician, and he conned USADA which is manned by the supposedly brightest minds in doping detection.

    What an irony.

    It is pretty funny

If a wannabe chemist can beat all the tests, then I dont feel great about someone saying they are drug free, no matter what tests are being given. Idiots will still be caught, like Toney and Roy Jones, but smarter fighters can easily avoid the tests I think.

Conte is working with boxers now. I'm sure those guys are really afraid of USADA. :rofl

All the *******s are upset over this for some reason. How about you just appreciate that boxing is starting to move in the right direction with better testing and it can only improve and get even better from here on out. lmao

That is how good USADA is.

There was an article where USADA was afraid to label athletes caught because they were afraid that those athletes would sue them. Infact, the two = sample method, SAMPLE A and SAMPLE B was devised because of this.

So SAMPLE A is positive but SAMPLE B is negative, athlete is negative.

    :patsch Didnt know that.

"Take the test" should be "are you an idiot?" With the help of guys like Conte and that dude who worked with Marquez, I just can't see any smart fighter getting caught now.

Its like baseball. Just accept that guys are using and move on. I want guys to be clean, but right now it doesnt seem possible to tell who is using and who is not.

Im glad USADA confirm they did the CIR tests too!

    Removes all doubt!

VADA/USADA should become mandatory in boxing now and even better make it all year round.
