USADA Motions to Quash Pacquaio request to subpoena FMJ Medical Records

Seems you got to the reply before I did.. Pac's lawyers are either dumb as ****, or taking all these guys for a ride.. Why would they not follow the proper process when requesting the documents if they know what they're doing?

 

They did not ask Floyd to produce anything, they asked USADA.. Read my post or SoxNation's to see why USADA is not allowed to do this.

I for one hope that the subpoena is successful. US drug testing has been crooked in the past... And with London coming up I wonder if there was another drop in fourth quarter testing in 2011.

 

You might be right. Maybe I was giving Pacquaio's lawyers too much credit. Maybe they're just extremely stupid and unprofessional. Either way, the guys who hate Mayweather will pick and choose what they want to see when it comes to him. No matter how dumb or how flawed their argument is, they'll always see the bad on his part.

 

I'm not disputing that. Floyd's records have been asked for and USADA cannot release them for some reason or another - I get it.

This, however, has not stopped the discussion drifting into that general realm of Mayweather vs Pacquiao in the 'Battle of Drugs Testing Righteousness'.

 

I would hope they're not that stupid, and Arum would look over Pac to insure he gets decent lawyers to defend himself against Mayweather.. But it's either that, or they're taking everyone for a ride like you said.. Just said the number of people who will grasp onto ANYTHING remotely negative with Mayweather's name attached.. Doesn't even make sense yet there's 10+ pages arguing about how he's ducking 'full disclosure'..

 

Won't be successful if they won't even follow the proper process of requesting it...

Floyd however has not refused to release his documents, as nobody has asked him to do such. They are asking others who do not have the right to release them, so people who cling onto anything negative about Floyd have something to jump around about. Even though what they're jumping around about is nothing at all.

Arum is a lawyer himself and I'm pretty sure that he's been in the business a lot longer than I've been alive. He knows what's going on when it comes to this stuff.
