Is the whole undercard undergoing the same testing protocols? IMO, since PBF is now pioneering this testing, Not only his match with SSM should they undertake these tests but also the whole undercard. Then after the PPV, they could at the very least start to lobby the commissions about enforcing these tests in all boxing matches. Even if the commissions do not budge from these requests, at least something has been made in the right direction. your thoughts? Its actually disappointing to know if only the PBF-SSM fight is undergoing the USADA testing IMO.
That's actually a good point. Floyd (as well as some of his fans) is so adamant about wanting to "clean up the sport", the least he could do is carry on this campaign for other fights too, and send forth proposals to the correct boxing bodies
If this is the case, how could somebody like the UK base George Groves comply with the testing until he took his camp out to the States?
I think if the commissions will adhere to these testing protocols, george groves need not take his camp out to the States and he will still be tested fairly.
IMO, we as boxing fans should make everyone involved in the Who R U Picking PPV accountable in making sure all the fights are randomly tested as per the USADA protocols. It hypocritical to watch PBF and SSM undergo these tests and saying their cleaning up the sport while their counterpart boxers in the undercard are not doing the same. so does anyone know if they all are being tested the same?:yep
I dont think its up to one boxer to do this. Its up to everyone. Floyd hardly has the power to dictate negotiations for other fights as well as change the governing bodies. Come on thats just stupid to think that. Really all he has done is negotiate his fight with testing involved, said he wont fight anyone who wont adhere to the testing and aired his views (which you should all agree on) that there are cheaters and the current system is not good enough to catch them. Yes he can help to change it but expecting him to do it alone is stupid. The governing bodies have budgets as well as protocols they have probably been using for years. Change is very hard. Not te mention Its not cheap to test everyone. IMO Its something that should first be used only for Big fights, but then should roll out to amller fights and then should be standard procedure. IMO He is only doing it for his own personal gain, but i dont care becasue we all know know its good for the sport. The fans, The governing bodies and the boxers (not just one boxer) must all do something about it. Wont be easy but i say do it!
smh! Do you have any idea ow much this style of testing cost idiot. Not only will the this style of testing be for just the two premiere fighters, but you will not see this format unless its an mega fight with mega bucks to back it up............
I get your point. thanks for sharing!:good I just feel since this fight is depicted as a pioneer in cleaning our beloved sport, the ones involved should at the very least start with the right channels and not just on their personal gain.
im smh too idiot!:good is it really a case that only the elite/wealthy boxers can be safe from cheaters then?
