PAC was winning before Ariza...****....PAC was winning before Roach. The addition of Roach and Ariza only assisted in the evolution of manny as a complete fightere and the best fightrer of the decade. PAC's not scared of needles...he's just supersticious and doesn't like blood being taken from him. Some people have those kinds of phobias....like flying or being afraid of heights. medically and biologically there is no proof that "Flying or Heights" can harm anyone in any way, but mentally it takes a toll...Manny has the same kind of problems when things are changed in his routine b/c of how supersticious he is. Murad....Manny's previous manager or promoter stated this in the past...as did Roach and Bob. The PED's and Roids garbage was a way for Floyd to try and control a stituation he had no control over. He did well.......if he was looking for a way out...he got it and was able to save face in the process b'c he never had to say the words....he didn't want to fight manny b'/c he was too risky.
do you have any links confirming this? i appreciate the gesture if you can find me one. I just cant find anything online or wherever. :good
what do you think does it mean if its indeed just the main event thats being tested? IMO, if this was the case, then PBF's efforts of pioneering USADA protocols in boxing will also end when he retires. I am hoping this is not the case and this becomes standard procedure.:yep
probably there was none because these whole changing the sport thing is nothing but a floyd mayweather charade and some of his naive fans are sucked unto it.
Floyd has compared his mission to that of Martin Luther King & Malcolm X. Those 2 guys lobbied for equal rights for everyone, Floyd should be doing the same thing, not just for himself...how selfish. So its ok for Floyd to not get cheated on but OK for everyone else to be cheated on? Damm you Floyd, and there I was thinking you were Martin Luther King reborn.
Why because it's FLOYD doing it?? You've got to be a sick a$$hole if you don't want a clean sport. So WHAT Floyd is asking for more stringent test. Should this be the norm across the board?? I wish people would put their absolutely PETTY biases aside and look at this from the perspective of the overall good of the sport and fair competition. But of course this sounds all "pollyanna" so we return you back to your regularly scheduled programming, 'the petty and the absurd'
Damn if they're not doing it with the other fighters...to think GBP got dragged into that "cleaning the sport BS" and they wont even do it with the undercards of the supposed crusaders of the sport? =) Nobody believes PbF's sincerity anyways. No big deal.
I don't think anyone disagrees that the strick testing should be the future and I don't even think that anyone really cares that the vehicle used to start the movement was Floyd. I think the problem is that Floyd himself is trying to act as if he was doing this to TRY AND CLEAN UP THE SPORT FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL BOXERS....:verysad Kind of like this had always been his plan and that it was bound to happen with or without Manny...... I mean....for real bro...I'm all for the change and trying to get things better and all but ain't NO ONE buying Floyd's BS about him doing this b/c he all the sudden cares about something other than himself, Money or his family.
so you actually believe that floyd is out to clean the sport? i don't blame you if you are naive enough to believe him. most of his fans seems gullible. :yep
Totally agreed. Mayweather was saying that he could beat Pac with or without PEDs and if that is so then whether or not Pac gets the additional tests are irrelevant. Mayweather knows that Pac is too risky.
Assuming that first sentence is true, then what exactly was the rationale for Pac for not taking the more strict testing tests offered during negotiations? 95% of his defenders' explanations flows from one of those two branches. Can't have it both ways: everyone thinking it's a good idea and not having a problem with Mayweather triggering the movement and then refuse the testing based on not wanting to 'yield' to Mayweather's demands or choosing to 'wait' for the 'good idea' to become mandatory.
