Usyk. Haye was a beast at CW, but he was drained. And he went life and death with Mormeck, his best performance was Enzo, stopped by Thompson, poor stamina. Usyk is a nightmare for him. Better question is, how would Haye have fared in that tournament a few years ago at CW? Haye vs Dorticos would be wild!
Looks like Usyk, right?! Haye got dropped and buzzed by some cruisers when it was at its worst state in years. Usyk navigated though the strongest one for quite some time.
Usyk's footspeed and volume would give Haye major problems. Haye like long resets times before launching bombs and Usyk wouldn't give him that time. Did Haye fight too many south paws? Could be a factor as well. Usyk on points if he goes safety first or KO if he thinks he can handle Haye's power punching.
This^ Haye liked to snipe and time his shots. The steadier the pace the more it suited Haye. Add in Hayes lack of volume of meaningful and commited combinations and add in Usyk's non stop angles and pressure and I think Usyk stops Haye in 9. Hayes best moments would be the first few rounds as Usyk likes something of a look-see early doors.
Usyk wouldnt let Haye plant his feet at any point in the fight, it would be a schooling similar to the Gassiev fight.
Haye has the talent to win but simply not got the gas tank or heart to go through with what is needed to beat Usyk at Cruiserweight. Tbf not many do.
Haye's footwork is horrible compared to Usyk. Haye was a dynamic puncher and one helluva can crusher, but a true Elite fighter he was not. This is 15-1 Usyk; Haye can land a punch from the gods on some strange night.
Haye will chicken dance and say: my toads,my toads like a ninja turtle lol(video games reference...im that old lol)
