Depend on The Toe. If The Toe is healthy, Hayes endures a beating but lasts the 12 rounds. If The Toe is throbbing, Hayes hobbles directly into an Usyk right hand and happily goes to the canvas for well needed rest around round 8.
What an amazing CW match up Haye was also amazingly talented with a massive punch Haye had the power to affect any CW but I think was badly effected by the making weight. That I think is what would decide this one. With that, at CW I would pick Usyk to win inside the distance At HW however I think it could go Hayes way. Consider how good Have looked against a prime Chisora compared to Usyk against an older more faded version. At HW I could make an argument for either At CW Usyk
Usyk has surpassed Haye in almost every metric, and climbing... Haye was unified cruiserweight champ, Usyk was undisputed. Haye was a heavyweight beltholder, Uysk is unified. Haye has respectable list of cruiserweight wins over Gurov, Fragomeni, Mormeck and Maccarenelli, Uysk has a stellar list over Mchunu, Hunter, Huck, Glowacki, Breidis, Gassiev and Bellew. Haye has a respectable list over heavyweight wins over Valuev, Ruiz, Chisora and Barret. Usyk has only Chisora and Joshua, but Joshua is pretty much better than Haye's entire list. Haye has four losses, Usyk has none. Usyk has been stopped or down against Thompson, Mormeck and BellewX2, with an uncredited knockdown against Barret. Usyk has never even been in danger of a knockdown. Usyk gets extra points for being the road warrior. You can give Haye power if you want. He had a great right. Haye had a good, laudable career, and Usyk is one of the best ever.
I was an avid Haye fan but the writing is on the wall for him here. Usyk’s style is all wrong for Haye who would be stopped before the 10th.
Usyk wins.. Haye is an overhyped fighter who got where here he got because of his used car salesman like banter.
Heart needed to win, not survive. Yes he showed plenty guts carrying on with a knackered leg but he was also in there for as long as he was because Bellew couldn't pull the trigger. That's what I believe anyway.
