^^^ Ward lovers getting ****in triggered at the possibility of this fight happening. LOL!:lol:

Ward is the one who babbled about fighting at cruiser weight and HW! He’s the one who very obviously has some sort of issue with Usyk. So... Let the ***** back it up!! What’s wrong?? :D

Ward vs Usyk makes no sense if it does happen Usyk likely wins. I guess some folks feel it’s necessary in order to satisfy their deluded thoughts of dominance. Who knows...still I don’t see why Usyk would risk his image versus a spoiler who’s career largely took place 3 divisions below his own.

ya but ward bought it on himself tbh, he was the one mentioning wanting to fight bellew if he won, it was only logical that he would be asked about it when uysk won.
He saw bellew as an easy fight with amazing rewards, so he obviously wanted bellew to win. He didn't and i dont think he had an intention of facing uysk.

He also needs to stop with this ' iv no idea about this p4p fighter but I've heard his play'.
You are paid to commentate on boxing ffs that crap wouldnt fly in any other sport.
Could you imagine a commentator in the NBA finals going ' iv only ever seen lebron james in a few highlights, apparently he is supposed to be good.'
They would be a complete laughing stock

I’m not questioning Wards intentions or his considerations regarding a fight at CW or HW. I personally feel it’s unnecessary and wouldn’t have been thrilled about him fighting anyone at that weight class. I just don’t see it having much of a historical impact for Usyk/Bellew since they’d be fighter a career super middleweight. Even worse what if Ward wins? Highly doubtful especially if he fights Usyk but still it’s a slim possibility. That would turn Usyk’s career upside down.

The nba commentator example really dosent apply here in my opinion, it’s hard to compartmentalize nba players because at some point during the year you’re going to face them, boxers aren’t forced to face other champs in different weight divisions. Still, I agree Ward is being a bit facetious when he downplays Usyks position in the sport....he might be laying the down the foundation with that comment who knows.

For them its a name. Bellew and ward did a film together. It would be ppv in america and the UK. Big money fight which would be a glorified sparring session.

Uysk is in the business of collecting names. He aint as marketable since ehe is easterne European. He had tougher fights he could have had than bellew eg lebedev, but bellew is a name in the UK and it has given him great exposure. I think ward would be an easy fight for him but ward is a name in america and it would give him more exposure.
Ward isn't ever taking that fight though so no need to mention it.

Ward has the look of a man that wants to come out of retirement but there are no easy fights at 175 ( all brutal potentially long term health threatening fights) and 200 pounds is on lock down with uysk.

If there were easy marketable fights you can be sure he would be popping in an out of retirement for easy pay cheques and to fight off boredom

i think to knowledge he has seen him is to agknowledge he Is good
Certain fighters due to their personality have serious trouble praising other fighters near their weight class. Its a sign of jealousy, not of how good the fighter is but more than they are actice and still fighting and they are not.
Ward doesn't want to he retired imo and he comes across as a bitter commentator because he wishes he was in the ring still.

Eastern European names do just fine here in the states. When I’m around folks who enjoy boxing Usyk’s name is highly recognizable. The desired exposure may be wanted from the casuals which is hit or miss. When I was a kid boxing was offered as a way to discipline the youth especially those without the luxury of football/baseball fields. That slowly started to fade away the support wasn’t there and these programs need community backers to keep them afloat.

All these retired fighters live in fantasy world where their intragenerational participation in a the sport was more challenging thus making their dominance more glorified when compared to the current regime. It’s not a mental disorder their just extremely proud.

Good thing the video stops before the guy goes down on Ward, the praise was getting a bit heavy.

Ward would have about as much a chance against Usyk as Usyk would against Fury. Which is to say, not much. And for similar reasons.

Ward is in contact with several Mexican butchers as we speak. His decision will be made if he can get hold of some of the finest Mexican beef possible.
