No, it has nothing to do with "hyping up the fight". Krassyuk was clearly fed up with Fury. He and Team Usyk aren't into theatrics anyway.

This is pure damage control by Warren. I mean, the promoter of the reigning WBC champion has to come out and say "oh no, my fighter won't duck a much smaller guy, despite all evidence pointing to that direction". It's absolutely hilarious. Can you imagine a scenario where Lennox Lewis' promoter needs to do the same? Heck, can you imagine Lewis voluntarily defending his WBC strap against an almost 40-year-old, 12-losses opponent whom he'd already beaten twice like a decade ago?

Fury is by far the weakest champion in HW history in terms of how willing he is to take risks and seek out top opponents whenever he can. He could have fought Usyk, Joshua, Joyce, Ruiz by now - and yet, after 34 professional fight and pushing 35, his best win is still an ancient Wlad from eight years ago. Absolutely rubbish legacy, and with his recent disgraceful ducking attempts, people started to turn on him in masses even in the UK.

They should have a WWE style contract signing in front of a live crowd. Then after Fury signs one of the promoters gets power bombed through a table.

Usyk's technique in the clinch is excellent. He doesn't square up but instead uses his shoulder to lean in and his legs to brace almost at 90 degrees to the opponent.

Okay, Fury is bigger and heavier than anyone Usyk has fought in the pro ranks and clinching will be the bedrock of his game plan - and he could still smother him into submission - but the idea all Fury has to do is lean on Usyk and gas him out is optimistic to say the least.

Usyk also has the footwork to reduce the opportunities for Fury to clinch in the first place...

Joseph Parker has no identity. He's Tyson Fury's DJ at post-fight victory parties and his sparring partner. That's who Joseph Parker is now.

 

Tyson Fury is in demolition mode, and there's still a month and a half to go. It's only going to get worse for Usyk and his fans. By the time they get to the press conferences on fight week, Usyk is going to be wearing headphones like Wilder did.

 

Feel sorry for Parker. He needs to get away from Fury. It's embarrassing.

Fury needs to lay off the packet and get back to reality before Usyk puts him Into orbit.
