Surely it's a great fight but I'm confident Usyk will win it. Why?

1) Usyk is great 'on the road' warrior. Fought all of his TOP opponents on their backyard and beat convincingly all of them (he did beat AJ so clearly both times that even judges couldn't rob him)

2) Southpaw stance. Fury had problems and was badly cut against Otto Wallin, who is nowhere near Usyk's level in terms of skills and speed.

3) Usyk knows how to beat big, tall fighters. He easily beat Joyce, Moduno, Fa in WSB, and he dominated AJ twice in pro division.

4) Mindset. Usyk has strong will and is extremely calm and confident and Fury's antics will never get him into Usyk's mind (as was with Wlad, Wilder and other Fury opponents).

5) In the last few years Fury has fought opponents with limited boxing skills - Wilder, Whyte and Chisora. Neither was a hard task to solve for talented Greedy Belly, but Usyk will be. And Usyk will win

I love both guys but I think the old saying is there for a reason a good big man beats a good little man.

 

Agree, thinking the same. I don't even know who to root for. I'll root for a good fight, hoping neither is injured or leaves too much of themselves in the ring. What's the early betting line? Not that I intend to bet.

Yep even though I am rooting for Fury I have no problem with him losing to a great fighter like Usyk the same way if Usyk is to lose I am glad it would be to Fury both men only deserve a loss to a fellow great not some random average heavyweight who gets lucky. Sportsbet in Australia have Fury the favorite at $1.53 and Usyk $2.85 head to head.

 

Usyk did more PPV buys against AJ, Bellew and Chisora than Tyson's biggest fights
