Usually when you make up figures from the top of your head you include a source to support your statement..

98% of the forum agree with this...

There's tons of sources. Google it fool.

I'm pro DAZN, but I'm not gonna be delusional and lie to boost them up like some on here. They have **** all subs and their viewership is terrible right now. Hopefully Canelo will change that in May though.

Being a cynic I assume this was deliberate on DAZN's part. It's an aggressive move and clearly they hope to impact the Wilder/Breazeale viewing figures. Not sure it will work though, 2 US heavies with genuine beef going up against one another vs a Ukrainian and a French man, can't see it impacting Wilder/Breazeale significantly.

Wilder/Breazeale isn't on PPV so it won't effect the PPV figures at all. Don't think it will effect the Showtime viewing figures much at all.

This is the same character who's history of making up "facts" to fit his agenda is all over the site. Just look at his "work" in the British forum. He hates Hearn so he has to make up things to fit his agenda.

The only "source" who mentioned that 16,000 figure then immediately withdrew it within 24 hours but don't let that disturb the narrative. The only other "sources" where you will find this figure mentioned without fail is the ever reliable LDBC "sources".

And "Pro DAZN", please, your posting history completely and utterly contradicts that statement.

LMAO. So you think anyone real who doesn't actively lie and inflate DAZN at all costs is against them. That's a bit silly isn't it.

Funnily enough, if we use the same Google Trends analysis for 2019 YTD that ESPN used to decide on their 2018 famous athletes article the other week, it shows AJ as reaching a higher peak (Miller announcement) than Wilder (Breazeale announcement) in the US.

No matter what source is given, the biased Hearn bregade on here argue and deny the truth at every turn. You all gaslight and sheet on any poster who even tries to knock any third party that you think could possibly lead to a negative light being cast on Eddie. It kills any real debate and perpetuates a bunch of fake news bollocks that benefits nobody but the Hearns themselves.

Any sensible person sees that AJ has not benefited from being forced onto DAZN. AJ has gone from having half a million watching his UK fights on Showtime in the US to a new service which doesn't even have a quarter of that in total subs. If he'd signed a Showtime deal instead he'd still be rich AF and potentially their biggest star by now. He could have already beaten Wilder twice, be undisputed champ and calling out Fury for lineal status. You all forget AJ never wanted to fight Wilder or anyone else in the US. He loved fighting at Wembley. Hearn has forced the US move upon him to try and save his position with DAZN.

I obviously hate Hearn. His position in UK boxing was only cemented using other sports to leverage a monopoly with Sky. He lies constantly and uses a Don King-esque smarmy fake friendship with fighters to make them do things that aren't in their best interests. He lied about everything to do with his DAZN deal. Everything I said has been proven 100% right. He didn't have a BIllion Dollar Deal. He didn't have a chance of signing all the biggest names from PBC/Top Rank. He didn't take over US Boxing. He didn't disrupt the PPV model. In fact all he's really done is tank Sky Sports Boxing in the UK by taking all the UK names he did have stateside.

I love Canelo and think GBP will do great things on DAZN. When HBO folded I was the first to say DAZN should break the bank to sign him. It was a genius move. I expect Canelo alone could bolster DAZN and keep them relevant in US boxing for the next two years while they get some traction. GGG is a great fighter and bagging him was a huge deal. I've always been a huge supporter of the WBSS. My problem has never at any point been with DAZN.

DAZN has a chance to be a huge factor in PPV boxing in the US. I just don't think they're gonna "take over" as Hearn kept insisting. Right now they're a very distant third to Showtime/Fox and ESPN, but after Canelo's next fight they're gonna be gaining ground. Their subs right now are horrendous and they're losing money hand over fist. AJ's figures were beyond terrible and that's why they pushed so hard for him to fight his next in the US. If things were going as expected they wouldn't have doubled their monthly prices and be pushing customer into a yearly subscription before Canelo has his first proper fight on the service.

You can dress me up as an irrational hater all you want. I will never care and will continue to drop truth and knowledge on all you agenda driven schills ;)

Yes, this is it. The impact will indeed be very minor as you say, but for them any sort of impact is potentially worth it.

Usyk-Takam is a non-event in the US. Putting it on there at the same time as a real US PPV is just silly and not in the best interests of Usyk or his fans.

I'd rather watch the Breazeale fight, because there's a bit more drama there. Usyk should beat Takam with relatively few problems, though I'd ideally watch both.

Absolutely. His hatred of Hearn and Joshua is irrational so he creates narratives to support his so called "facts". I don't know what Hearn has done to him to lead to this situation but the term "scorned women" comes to mind.
