One thing is certain: that ref was a total disgrace. He didnt call the TKO during Furys dance and neither he permitted Usyk to throw the final left when Fury was down held up by the ropes of the corner and finally call a cristal TKO like Cooney with Norton.

The standing 8 count rule itself is the problem not the referees decision, the ref did the correct thing under the rules as Fury was only help up by the ropes. I'm simply stating the rules as they stand prevented us finding out if Usyk could have finished him but it also denied us knowing if Fury could have taken more punishment and gotten up and recovered like he has before.

But Usyk showed superb ability to keep Fury under pressure he didn't blow it like Wilder did on multiple occasions.
