Are you comparing monthly ratings to yearly ratings though? I haven't seen monthly ratings for anything that much older
In 5 years time possibly none of them will be in the ratings. I haven't tried to create a narrative, just looked at a current easily accessible rating system where I could look at a current top 20. I don't think Usyk was fast tracked per se. I believe alot of it was being highly rated from being a unified cw champion which got him high ranking I believe Okolie who wasn't anywhere near as accomplished has a high rating with one of the organisations based on lower weight achievements
no, i dont think i explained myself clearly. usyk holds 4 belts, each belt has its own top 10 rankings, so usyk can choose from 4 separate and different lists of top 10 fighters he can put on his resume to say he beat a top 10 fighter. some of the names on these rankings appear on more than one top 10 list, but many do not. so you might have 4 different guys you can fight, all 4 ranked number 5 in the world, for example. in alis time you didnt have 4 different guys being given a ranking of #5 in the world.
But I knew more that you...that's the point. You got it spectacularly wrong, and I was right. And NOTHING you say or write is going to change that. So good luck to you in your superiority.
It' s a matter of public record. I reposted some or your nonsense saying that Usyk was destined to lose to Joshua and Andy Ruiz (dear god, that is funny) and that Usyk might be good for B-side fights. You also said Joshua was more skilled. So how much are you going to pretend that you know?
Actually, it ought to be the other way around. You are maintaining a wall of delusion. By the way "youre" has an apostrophe.
this is basically what is happening between us right now. take a guess at which one you are, four eyes. This content is protected bwaaaahahahaha!!!
Look, guy, you came at me, and you can think whatever you want of me. That is fine. No, I am not insecure, because I have never lost anything betting on Usyk, so if you don't mind, I am going to continue to do so. I believe that this all started because I pointed out that Ali was a mortal who had some shortcomings...I believe that I have also already said that I consider Ali to be the GOAT at heavy, but I just think that Usyk also has remarkable accomplishments due to what he has done in so few fights, and how he has done it. Far from being "insecure," I stand by it and am proud that I predicted all of his wins against AJ and Fury, when you, of course, did not. That being said, I have nothing against you--I always kind of liked you, and I have recently had some reminders that I have to learn to extricate myself from these kinds of arguments in life. So feel free to be the boxing expert, and I wish you well. This is my last post in the subject--Happy New Year to you. Hope it brings you some good things.
cheers. look man, i dont take it personal. what i know doesnt change because you question it. and im no weasel, i dont scamper when im wrong, i call it like i see it, with the benefit of what i know i know, and if im wrong, i admit it and move on. that doesnt take away from what i have lived and what i have learned and keep learning. i know that confidence comes across as arrogance. and that dont bother me. nothing youve pointed to makes you more knowledgeable about boxing than me. even when im wrong you can see the logic, which stays consistent because its based on knowledge, not feelings. of course its not always going to compute the correct results, this is boxing, that should need no explanation. but you put those times ive been wrong against the times ive been right across the 20 years ive been here, and im sure you cant compare. just like i understand there are more knowledgeable fans than me, you should feel secure in yourself enough to understand the same. nothing wrong with you pointing out you got a prediction right when someone else got it wrong, but suggesting you know more than them when you arent even prepared to explain the mechanics of a properly thrown punch and why it's thrown with those mechanics, in a sport where effective punching is job 1, well....you should limit yourself to questioning their reasoning, not their knowledge.
