If Ruiz had finished what he started, we wouldn't still be dealing with all this AJ A-side garbage. Wlad is also to blame. Pricey at least did his job and KO'd Big Joshie properly in the gym.

Usyk is a mandatory, so he doesn't have to agree to a rematch clause and should still gett the fight.

How much is Hearn offering and how much has Usyk typically earning.

Fore example in europe a lot of ppl does knows who he is and knew even before he turned into a pro.
Okey, for some ppl US is all the world.
This is like also to talk about fighters like A.J, Bellew, Haye: tickets sales in U.K with these three were very good ( ofc before covidcrisis ).
And nah, a lot of U.S boxing fans does know who is Usyk and Huck etc.
Okey, mainstream doesn't gave so much, this doesn't means that US boxing fans didn't had watched for example Hunter vs Usyk in U.S for WBO title in Usyk's title defense fight.
Also there are enough boxers who still does have some fanbase and had been defeated by Usyk, their fans might watch with intent to see get Usyk beated up.

Why do you think that a) only pro boxing is road to earn money for a pro boxer b) that Usyk maybe is poor by your opinion.
Payday is not only in the ring. A lot of smart boxers invest their money and sorry, this is more lucrative than to fight for a purse.
I always wonder why ppl if they are talking about boxers, think that their only way to earn money is fight purses.
Why immentiately talk about U.K taxes.

Depends where Usyk's country of residence for tax purposes is.
Maybe this is US or Ukraine.
I think that he is paying also some US tax cos he had something in US and lived/ is living also in US.
Might happen that this will be also U.K if he is resident in U.K. IF.

Purse is not take home or only before tax ammount, most likely there will be deducted managers and boxer's promoters %, gym % and corner expenses, sparring partners ( usually this includes also living, travel expenses etc ). Only after this there is x money before tax, Usually.
Advertisement deals, I don't know there too might be agents fees, then taxman too ofc.

Yeah, but might had been created hyper card with insane sales.

Fore example if Fury vs Wilder and Usyk vs A.J and for undercard had been Hunter vs Hrgovic and Okolie vs Makabu, then some good fights and if some these social media stars too had been added.

More than A.J btw but I suppose that he might be like Rigo vs Loma. ( Rigo was too small for Loma, 1 only one pro boxer where Loma had S/C advantage vs opponent ). Different styles and still like this.
Unless he will catch A.J on counter and finish A.J in distance. Low chances but still might happen.

Usyk shouldn't accept a rematch clause unless it's ridiculous money.

Because the rematch clause will only work one way.. if AJ beat Usyk by a disgusting decision does anybody think Usyk will get a rematch?

He won't, they will move on and try again to make Fury/Wilder Vs AJ and nobody will give a toss about Usyk because everybody wants to see Fury/Wilder Vs AJ.

As mandatory Usyk hasn't got accept a rematch clause, he could win the belt and then go and fight Fury Or Wilder in the US.

This is the reason Hearn didn't want this mandatory headache right now, this is why Hearn said AJ might have to drop a belt.

Hearn and AJ won't risk it after Ruiz Jr, they know anything can happen and in a few months AJ could be sitting there without a belt while the rest are discussing a undisputed fight,

I wouldn't rule out Hearn just coming out and saying AJ is vacating if they can't get a rematch clause nailed down.

Isn't the mandatory challenger split set in stone? Doesnt Usyk ultimately have to accept the, is it 75/25 or 80/20, whichever it is.

    Yes.
Eddie does knows how to protect his boxers with clauses and select opponents for his boxers.
If not possible to select opponent, at least clauses and so on.
Povetkin vs Whyte was last big example but eddie uses a lot of clauses everywhere.

Josh Warrington was even worse, Lara was a "keep busy fight" and after he smashed Warrington around..

Hearn was out within minutes telling everybody he had a rematch clause.
