    Dubois said beforehand part of the strategy was to foul Usyk

    And Don Charles

    ‘You don’t box Usyk, you have to dog it out with him. Once you get into that zone, you have to commit. In football, when you get a skilful footballer, you don’t give him space. You chop him down. You mark him, you barge him, you foul him. Make him uncomfortable

    Usyk is durable, intelligent and has a huge boxing IQ, but Charles believes he has ‘mileage’ on his clock and that his age will show when he comes up against the hard-hitting Dubois, who has stopped 18 of his 19 opponents.

    ‘We’re going to expose that,’ Charles says. ‘I’ve seen fighters age rapidly if the fight isn’t going their way. I think we’re about to witness that on the 26th. This is a 36-year-old man. We know the positives of Usyk, but let’s look at the negatives for a minute. He’s had over 300 amateur fights.

    'Then he fought in the World Boxing Super Series. Then he unified the cruiserweight division. That’s a lot of mileage on that clock and a lot of injuries that are there. We are going to reactivate those injuries.'

    Dubois won that fight.


    First thing Monday Team Dubois need to appeal.

    Because he saw it coming, I'd guess.

    Dubois threw numerous low blows in the bout. One landed flush, the others not as much although a few others bothered Usyk.

    It's like saying "Hey that guy got hit on the face a lot, why didn't he go down each time?" when talking about a KO shot.

    What I learned from this , all rational and thinking persons , they are on side with Dubois. All delinquent persons with fandom hysteria , all side with Usyk.

    If anyone knows how to timestamp, I'll amend it ...

    Go to 2:48, full screen it...slow motion it to 0.25x if you want. Look at how before the punch Usyk shifts his body upwards and away lifting his dick area up into the punch. You will need to look at it several times. It then looks as if Dubois smashes his nob right into his bladder.

    You can't look and judge from screenshots, you have to look at the video which contains way more information than a misleading screenshot.

    I do think this is a tricky one to call, but from this angle definitely looks like he got a nut shot to a degree (not that it has to be a nut shot to 1. be a low blow and 2. for it to hurt like hell)

    Although Usyk was winning the majority of the rounds, Dubois didn't fight too bad and looked good in places, his feet at times looked very quick. And he is dangerous at all times with that punching power. However, that was a straight up quit job from him at the end ..completely packed his bags.

    Outside of the debated low blow, Usyk deserved the win

    Given the trajectory of the shot and the fact that it's ENTIRELY on the shorts, it's basically impossible for part of the contact to not be low... So it's not legal.

    Any contact below the beltline is illegal.

    The contact patch of that punch is pretty huge.

    Unless you think Usyks shorts are riding 4-6" above the navel/judgeable beltline, there's no damn way that punch can all be on and above the belt line.


    We've all seen worse ones not given, but by the letter of the laws, it's not a legal shot
