That's the best view of the shot I've seen. I initially thought it was borderline, but that view I can see about a 3rd of his glove lands below the belt line then rises upwards due to the shot being an uppercut and ends up on the belt line so you could easily take a freeze fame of the end of the shot and claim it was on the belt line and not below it. So yes it was ever so slightly low and the ref made a great call.

Where are all the trolls and Usyk haters ?? Where are all the casuals that don't even know the boxing rule, but are crying like a babies?

Give this man the props he deserve !!!
He smashed Dubois who had to rely on dirty cheating tactics, he and his whole f***** team of piece of s**** that are attacking Usyk now.
Usyk is the most clean athlete, and this s**** sport doesn't deserve this athlete. Never hit behind the head, never clinch/hold/leaning, never use dirty tactics as elbows or low blows, etc, etc.
Always beat his opposition fair and square.

Which is exactly what Warren wanabies have done. They either show a side angle view, where you cannot see the initial punch landing, or use the said screenshots.
You can clearly see that this shot moved Usyk bandage below his shirts.
And also the rules explained perfectly well. Anything below the upper, even if it's half a glove, low.
And we already debunked the high trunks in the other thread, as his belly button was right on the top of the belt.

Is this a Windmiller or DD alias?

You don't win fights based on a foul - borderline or not. DD was out boxed most of the fight and quit in the 9th.

First thing they need to do is accept the loss and go back to the drawing board. Getting a new heart s/be the top priority :sisi1

Nice try, but the WBA rules says anything below the belly button > low. They were fighting under the WBA rules. Which is actually universal rule.

Ward fight is like what 5 years ago ?

    Educate yourself:

Waren filled a case, the question is what your excuse will be, when WBA state that it was low?
Your hero Gypsy Queen won't get a free pass this time.

Yellow Belly aka the Real Fighting Con-Man aka Belly the Bottler aka Timid Tyson aka Frightened Fury aka The Gutless Gypsy aka The Terrified Traveler literally quit at the contract signing stage and all the gold in Fort Knox couldn't tempt that big fat stalk-legged flabby bald coward out of his giant poop covered chicken coop to step up to the plate to face a MW half his size in his own backyard where everything was stacked heavily in his favour

Simple. The second referee simply doesn't know the proper rules. What he deemed "good" would have been illegal punches.

40.1 of the USA Boxing National Rule Book (which is the one considered for this match), states that ALL hits 'below the belt' are “illegal”. Despite the confusing name, the 'belt line' for these purposes is not the somewhat wide area of the actual belt of the shorts - it is literally “a line located on the level of the fighter’s belly button”. This is further confirmed by The Association of Boxing Commissions Regulatory Guidelines, which state: “Below the belt refers to all the area of the body that lies below the line of the opponent's navel, including the genital area, legs, and crotch. It goes on to say: "In these sports, as in many others, punches must not be struck below the opponent's navel, as it is deemed unfair and contrary to sportsmanship.” Therefore, any hit delivered below the belly button is considered a “low blow” and is thus deemed an illegal shot.

The second referee pointed at the waistbands saying they were legal punching areas. But you can see how the two fighters' navels sit right on top of the trunks aka the belt line (once again, the line that connects the navel and the top of the hips). Hitting the waistband is illegal so that second ref was talking BS.

Is this the fight where the ref just watched Ward onload direct shots to the nutsack one after the other and then stopped the fight on a TKO when Kovalev keeled over?
