Usyk Beltline & Low Blow Controversy/Dubois Was Robbed! Dump Thread.

Dubois is milking the controversy to be a modern day chuck wepner.
Usyk definitly wasnt getting up though, was tweaking on the ground like a heroine addict.

 

Lets hope Fury himself believes that as well. Usyk looks slightly passes it as well. Now he can stop running and have the confidence to fight for undisputed. Even if its atleast a year past when it should happen.

 

The idea that Usyk couldn’t have gotten up is ludicrous. Once he saw it was ruled a low blow he milked it for all it was worth. No different than what John Ruiz and Bernard Hopkins used to do.

 

Sweet words in a cheap try of damage control but on any case a lie and a cheat .

- if he would 'jump up' in a count the entire shaking hand , air gasping and being down for minutes were nothing more than a show in a hope to force a disqualification of dubois and at least to buy time .

- if he would be unable to 'jump up' he clarified he is fragile and vulnerable on the body like no other hw pro and if the shot was borderline legal , dubois ( who is nowhere close to be a hw elite ) was robbed of his victory - Even dubois can beat usyk .

In any case every word out of his mouth now sounds pathetic to me

So sure, Usyk definitely complained and claimed a low bow 34 times in 9 rounds, yep, that happened. Definitely.

 

This is just stupid. He is a prizefighter not a tennis or golfer. Once it was ruled a low blow it doesn’t matter what his facial expressions or body language is.

 

Easy to say after the event. Dr No in Usyk was not getting up from a 10 count. He played the system. Dubois should have remained focussed but he could not unfortunately for him.

 

1. Even if it's slightly hyperbolic Usyk complains very frequently about borderline shots, significantly more than any heavyweight (and practically any fighter in the sport). Everyone knows that this is the case. Do you really have to be dishonest about it?

2. I never said that Usyk needed the crowd behind him in this regard but it obviously helps

3. Unified titlist Usyk was the big A-side against Dubois in Poland, you fool. Pabon refereed Wlad-Povetkin and is anything but a neutral umpire, you fool

4. Four rounds completed and on doesn't exactly equate to "later rounds" in normal parlance. If Usyk had been stopped on a low blow in the first four then it would have either been a NC or a DQ

5. Usyk managed to get the KD discounted and have some extra time to recover in Beterbiev 3 and Joshua 2, though he didn't milk it to the same extent as he did here. Partly because he didn't need to, partly because he wasn't a huge A-side in those fights

6. Dubois quickly became hesitant after the action resumed in the 5th. If the referee is judging his shots as being low then it's logical that he won't be inclined to throw as many body shots for fear of being penalised, especially considering this was a de-facto home event for Usyk

7. You missed the point

I'm not even criticising Usyk, I'm outlining the dynamics of his high IQ anti-low blow/bodyshot strategy. You can only see it through the prism of an "agenda" because that's exactly how you think. I fear for your health if Fury beats Usyk.

Next time usyk enters the ring with shorts up to the armpit and everything will be a low blow.

They should forbid shorts where the beltline covers the belly button .

 

The punch that finished off Kovalev was an illegal low blow, Ward landed several illegal shots in the match, I forgot how bad they were until I just rechecked it, well and truly below the belt line. The Dubois shot landed square on the belt line.

I think you might be mistaking belly buttons for bumholes if you think his navel is lower than that glove.
