Man, only the Usyk sectarians can argue against that - Pabon proved himself one if the crappiest and most corrupt referees ever. But they can always dig a level below the bottom by telling you he did great in that fight - what else do they have being unable to even read a simple CompuBox statistic, hahaha! That is some impressive stupidity! I am speechless against this Dunning-Kruger example.

Just out of curiosity: what's the plan here? Am I supposed to be upset or hurt by these remarks?

The reason I'm not responding in kind with such kindergarten name calling is that I can't really be bothered. Don't get me wrong, I don't wish you any ill at all, but if you were to be hit by a car or whatever and die today, it wouldn't really affect me either since I don't know you as a person (nor do I wish to change this fact). You are literally just a few characters on my laptop screen and you might as well be ChatGPT's automated chatbot for all I care.

So I'm just genuinely curious about your motivation here when typing these things.

Look, i am an Usyk fan and i do believe the Dubois knockdown was a borderline low blow. Usyk is in a different class than Dubois and i am glad he won.

That being said, i have seen him complain to the referee even against Joshua when he was hit by body shots that were clean. Not borderline but clean nonetheless. It does deter guys from going to the body.

There is no doubt it is a weakness for him. Thankfully, we do not have body punchers like a young Tyson or Joe Frazier in heavyweight boxing today. Usyk is way too good for everyone out there right now. But there is no doubt this is a weakness and an ATG body puncher would no doubt take advantage of it.

This is the funniest part: "I lost the will to win after my knockdown wasn't counted and so gave the fight away and quit on a jab. That's why I should be a world champion right now!''

I hate to break this to a young lion and his fans. But a true champion fighter does not lose the will to win, let alone when one moment in the fight doesn't go his way. That's called being a spoiled quitter, a very different thing to a champion.

Once is was ruled low, there was no reason to milk it for 4 minutes which is much longer than anyone I have ever seen in boxing or MMA. He was legit hurt, you could see it the way he went down like a sack of potatoes. Daniel Dubious The Body Snatcher.

Well, who knows. I don't think he would have been able to stand up, he tried and sat back. But who knows. Maybe he genuinely believes he could have but that doesn't mean he actually would have been able.

In any case, giving the count for such a blatant low blow would have been the real travesty. Luckily enough, the referee stood there and saw the whole thing from 8 feet away - also, unlike those nincompoopss who claim it was a legit body shot, he knows the physiological signs of a hurt fighter as well. A legit body shot causes a delayed response of 1-2 seconds. The fighter stays up for a second or two, then crouches forward to take the knee or curls up a ball, all the while struggling to breathe - since that's what body shots due to you, they make it extremely difficult to breathe. What did Usyk do? He reacted immediately, crawled away on all fours, then stretched out to lay down against the ropes, while breathing heavily with deep breaths. That has written "my family jewels hurt" all over it, and has nothing to do with a legit body shot.

I don't hate you either but all of the things I said about you are true. I also think that you're a worm who skulks off when he's definitively proven wrong rather than apologising for inaccurately calling me a liar. You claimed that I was inaccurately quoting your failed boxer bouncer Youtube deity gasman and asked for evidence. I provided it and you ran off, never to respond.

If you say things like "He (Pabon) is a quality referee who enforces the Queensbury rules of boxing" and imply that Usyk wasn't a clear A-side vs Dubois in Poland then how can a reasonable and informed person see you as anything but 1. stupid 2. dishonest?

Giving him recovery time and continuing the bout was the most sensible way forward. The punch was technically low but so close to the borderline that I'm sure Dubois did not intend it to be low. What should the ref have done? Docked a point from Dubois? Disqualified him? Giving Usyk recovery time was the perfect middle way.

I’m not sure where the problem is then. As you say the waistlines will have been established in the instructions, the referee gave the low blow instantly so I’m not sure why people are saying it’s a low blow.
