Of course it matters that the punch was illegal. Usyk has gotten up from similar blows before. He did the smart thing and waited to recover. It’s hilarious to see how many people believe Dubois deserved the victory because he landed a low blow. Other than the low blow, he never hurt Usyk with any legal punches.

 

A referees job is to ENFORCE the rules as per MoQ rules NOT make up his own to suit his criteria like Tony Weekes did in Ward/Kovalev2. They know the rules, or should do, I often wonder

This is a UK guy, who also heavy supporting Dubois for obvious reason.
He is beyond pathetic, as he posted a video of Usyk being lowblowed, and claiming it was legit shot, and everyone at the comment section laughed at him.

And why is everyone defending Dubois using that angle that you cannot see the initial connection of the punch. Side angle where you cannot see s**** ....

You can clearly see Usyk naval, and rules are clear, anything below the naval it's a lowblow.
You can milk it as much as you like, it was clear below the naval, aka clear lowblow. Same with AJ shot, which was pretty close in terms of the trajectory and placement. Neither AJ, neither Hearn complained about it, cause they are not pu**** like Fury bodyguard.
