Usyk Beltline & Low Blow Controversy/Usyk Was Hit Low, Ref Made The Right Call! Dump Thread.

On the contrary - boxing is dying because it's inconsistent and too many times the rules are not enforced properly.

This is a rare exception - it's a low blow, and normally it would (wrongly) not be given.

Honestly, no it doesn't - because even if Usyk doesn't get up before the count, Dubois would still get schooled in the rematch just like he did in this fight...

The other thing the usual gronks don't think about is lets say the ref started counting Usyk like it was a body shot he would've got up and sucked it up but it was a clear foul so he took the time within the rules he needed to fully recover. The fact that people are making any issue of this just shows how insecure and threatened they are by Usyk and we all know the reason that is.

You don't even have to look far to see a referee giving pre-fight instructions to both fighters, clearly showing each boxer which punches will be deemed acceptable, and which will be considered a foul / low blow.

Just look at the referee before the Anderson v Rudenko bout last night:

I disagree. From that angle, because you see the punch entering Usyk's trunks area it makes it seem low. But the impact is higher up. If you see the angle from where you don't see the punch on Usyk's trunks until it lands, you'll see it never touches his crotch area. Legal shot.

Going back to Ward/Kovalev 2 Did you notice in round one Ward sunk one low. Weekes said "Keep em up Andre OK" at the end of the round when he collected the judges I believe he was told to ignore the low blows because he watched enough fouls I never made another low blow comment. Either that or he has no clue about the human body The Navel, he foul line, is NOT level with the testes where Ward's & now Dubois punches landed
