Well of course this comes as no surprise. Controversy almost seems to be a prerequisite these days, makes it much more interesting & exciting. It encourages media wars, etc.

For the people that are calling that shot low, you need to watch more boxing. Do you guys realize how the course of boxing history would be changed, if every blow like this one were ruled a foul? Think about that.

From a 50 year-long boxing fan, that was a legal punch, period. Usyk's trunks didn't even flutter.
Edit: His trunks did move, but it was the result of the force of the shot.

Dubois and Warren need to pipe down as the stills show nobody cheated them. Likely Usyk makes a count if given one, so they're off the mark claiming Usyk was ko'd. Concentrate on your next fight and not the one you just lost fair and square.

You need glasses if you think 80% is below the belt lol. The top of the glove is even with the belt line, and do you know how thick a belt is? 80% of the glove is on the belt. Scary how clueless people are even with a clear photo infront of them.

Dubois is almost a foot taller than middleweight Usyk. It's clear that anything even remotely borderline shows Dubois had full intentions of tenderizing Usyks enormous meatballs.

Either way the ref in the instructions indicates the line based on the height of the trunks

I had it a shutout, round 3 and 4 were close so I can see it. I actually thought round 8 was dubois best round before going down

Joyce ****ed up his eye but the fight was close. Usyk was way more dominant and the speed and combinations were much more effective. Joyce just jabbed him to death

However, I've seen multiple posts claiming Usyk wore his trunks high...go figure...

I thought Dubois was putting up a pretty good fight considering the expectations going in. A boxer can be in a lot more rounds than he wins.
I'm fine with the cards. Would have been fine with one point closer even. Or if you think it was a legit KD then what? 75-74 when Dubois gives up? How would that have penciled out?

I would demand an immediate rematch with Dubois in October, and KTFO him in round 1 with a stiff jab and be done with this "controversy" and this chinless wonder forever.

That'll still leave him time for his January meeting with Fury.

If he doesn't, the Brits and other assorted folks in the boxing sphere and media will continue to dog him and try to asterisk him.

Just take him out and quick so DD can wonder off into Gatekeeper'dom before he retires like the Glass Price he is.
