Yes, the reason is obvious and deplorable.

 

People claiming Usyk got knocked out or the shot was not low, are either haters or just don't know the rule as it pertain to low blows. Either way, it speaks more to their character than Usyk's. If I was Usyk, I wouldn't say another word on the matter. If Dubois wants to protest, let him and when the findings come back in Usyk's favor, just sit back smile and call out belly.

I would hope this has been said already, but based on how the fight ended, aren’t you glad that Dubois didn’t get the win? Do you really want that guy as champion?

It makes it seem low? This is the perfect view, as it's from a straight angle and you see exactly the initial point of contact which is what matters. It doesn't matter where the shot end, but where it make contact, and it's clear from a miles away that is way below the allowed area.
It's also pull Usyk short up, as it's clear in the video, and a clear indication when the shot landed.

Some people are really trying to hard by claiming a direct video of a footage is not good, just to prove their point, which is just straight up wrong.

Some people also have hard time to understand that just because 5% of your glove is on the line, doesn't mean the shot is not illegal, simply because 95% of the other part of the glove are BELOW. Any part below the allowed area - lowblow.

 

Big time glad, but I'm worried about Usyk being dogged and not respected.
Usyk has great mental fortitude though, so it might be okay

Clear lowblow. And just because someone, somewhere get away with lowblows, doesn't mean fouling should be allowed. Just like your hero with the illegal forearm/elbow punch to Cunningham.

MMA have a clear rules an they are 100% enforced, even if it's just a "slight" foul, and the sport is million times better in terms of being fair, which what every single sport should be. Be 100% fair towards both guys on the ring.

What the rule say? Anything below the belly button is low.
99% of Dubois gloves is clearly below the belly button. On top of that there is no contact with Usyk skin, the whole glove is on Usyk trunks.
Hitting someone in the shot and expect to win the fight by multiple lowblows is pathetic.

Rubbish. Dubois sucks, Usyk won virtually every round and stopped him, and 65 percent of the boxing community know if is a low blow. If Fury and his goon squad disagree, it will only help them find their nutsacks and sign to fight.

Usyk has at most two fights left...Hrgovic for his other mando, and Fury. Dubois can kick rocks.
