GGG was ducked by every Breidis Dorticos Glowacki Gassiev and even Huck in or around his weight until he finally got a shopworn Mack and Geale into the ring. Since then, it's been talk talk talk swerve swerve swerve. Finally, he gets his #2/#3 beats them both far more clearly than Usyk v Breidis and may have well have been robbed at gunpoint. The judges stole his ppv position probably equaling close to 10 mil if/when Oscar decides to risk the KO of his cashcow. GGG is P4P#1 Usyk with Gassiev or Dorticos looks like a top 5. Gonna be tough to dislodge Loma at this point from 2 and Bud from 3
You have got to have usyk higher then Crawford even now his wins at world title level are better then All the trash Crawford fought
It depends if you give him the win against Jacobs and Canelo. If so easily yes. If not, no. Briedis/Glowacki > Lemiex, Murray easily.
GGG comfortably beat both Alvarez and Jacobs, all the while never going near 100%. Had to stop himself from KOing Jacobs 3 times simply to ensure the KO streak ended and didn't derail his payday. Who'd have known that winning 7 impossible to score for Jacobs rds, not allowing Jacobs 4 clearly won rds, and scoring the KD would have allowed for miserable judging....but I guess its not completely out of the question that K2/GGG promotions could have spent a few bucks themselves luring GB closer to the table. However, you show your lack of independent thought, if you believe either Breidis or Glowacki are H2H better wins. I'd prefer though to hope you just don't like Murray or haven't seen his clear wins over Sturm Martinez and Abe. His tearup with GG and even his KO11@ against GGG. As for Lemiuex, not as good resume as Murray, but the better Ws on his record were solid operators, his early Ls were clearly corrected mgmt errors, and his last Ls simply due to level. Glowacki survived and conquered a visibly slowered Huck. Still, testament to his own level in that only USS had scrambled Marcos eggs before. Huck however was is an open book. An offensive coordinator who jumps up and down waving his dry erase board at the opposing team's defensemen. And while certainly never dropping out of the top 5 thru nearly his entire career, the beneficiary of no less than 3 gifts himself. Not robbery's such as Ward v Kovalev 1 or Alvarez getting a draw against GGG but every bit as much as Martinez Abe and Sturm. GGG will either get his KO6-9 in May over Alvarez or another clear and decisive W/TKO in his own UNDISPUTED party.
A very strong no from me. For all the Golovkin opposition garbage meme nonsense, he's now got a deep list of good names. I'd mention maybe six guys for Usyk if he wins the next and 12 for Golovkin as being notable enough to bother mentioning?
I was highly sceptical about Bud coming up. Looked like Bob was trying to pull a Bradley on us, guiding him into styles fights against styles that fit his game. Size speed power...a huge gulf in at least a couple of the intangibles while not risking the potential disadvantages by any notable margins. He was doing what he was supposed to. It was his absolute decimation of Diaz, who had shown his level in his fight with Peterson and Vasquez. His Ws over Gamboa, Burns, Postol, Diaz, and Indongo and the fact that he established himself as the head and shoulders best in 2 weight divisions cements him for me. And while I'm thoroughly impressed with his skills, I'm not even a fan. Just giving credit where I see it due. Personally, im a Thurman/Porter/Spence/Pac fan. But.... I'm not sure any of them beat Bud right now.
If Usyk wins the tournament, he should ranked very highly, however, USTV will boycott all his fights as they hate Eastern European fighters...............Usyk beat 6 foot 6 inch Joyce.................who was taller and heavier...........
If he beats the winner of Gassiev/Dorticos, are you really implying that a resume with Murray, Geale, Macklin, Brook & Jacobs is better?
