In think he is praying every might for it not to happen unfortunately. He behaves like a guy that doesnt want it.
Usyk needs it, Fury does not. Fury can go and make some money, without even fighting top 5 HW right now. that's the saddest part of todays boxing game.
"And the winners will face each other!!!!" "Oh wait no there's a mandatory due but the winner of that will face each other!!!!" Repeat ad-nauseum forever. Boxing ay.
Can you imagine if Frank Warren tells everyone he's reserved a location in the UK for the Fury-Usyk mega-fight in April and all the British fans get excited. Then Warren blocks the fight because they don't want Usyk to get an even split with Fury. Which means Usyk has to negotiate with Warren for a Dubois fight (or Usyk will get stripped), and Warren quickly agrees. So the fight that actually takes place in the UK in April is Usyk vs. Dubois promoted by Warren ... so Fury can just focus on fighting Joyce in the summer on a show also promoted by Frank Warren? Should that happen, it would probably be seen by some people like that was the plan the whole time. What a bait-and-switch that would be.
This content is protected Just in case anyone missed it, it's at 9:52 in this video. Fury's body language betrays him completely. He never had any intention to fight Usyk.
He needs a better resume....and an extra 50 million wont do him any harm...lol!! Right now im only 30% that this fight happens. Perhaps Fury is waiting till Uysk is more ring rusty? The politics of modern day boxing is leaving the fans short changed....too much of this A side **** goes on for my liking!!
Honestly I seriously doubt this is getting held up because of the split. Usyk cannot make as much as 40% anywhere else anyway. There are some funny games going on behind the scenes and I'm not too sure what. Maybe they have agreed to fight later in the year and are just trying to build attention in the meantime. Maybe Fury feels there's little to gain, and doesn't feel like going to the trouble of training 100% as he knows he needs to. Even if he wins people will say Usyk wasn't big enough for HW.
Fury changes his opinion depending on the situation, if Usyk had said he didn't want a fight, then Fury would have declared that he would fight for free if necessary, but Usyk wants a fight and Fury doesn't want it, and he finds the reason in the "weak" monetary offer...
