More than anything you appreciate about him, especially at heavyweight, and against AJ and Fury, is his anaerobic engine. He's taking punishment, but still coming back without taking a round or two off

Pathetic. Both sucking each other off while the real best fighter in the world, Naoya Inoue, simply keeps winning his fights without controversy

Yeah, no. Usyk is beating and schooling dudes way bigger than him.

Crawfords best win is a post car crash Spence, which if I’m being generous is the equivalent to a Briedis win. I rate 2017 Spence way above Briedis but 2023 Spence? Hell no.

Second best win is probably Gamboa. While Gamboa was undefeated, he was extremely inactive and was coming off multiple knockdowns. He was most effective at 126. This is the equivalent of Usyk beating Kovalev at cruiser after Kov got stopped by Ward.

Third best win is probably Postol. Gassiev is a better fighter than Postol or at least in a similar realm.

I don’t even have to pull out Usyks wins against AJ and Fury.

Lately he's gotten a nasty habit of kissing the ground, which says he's not the best boxer in the world.

Usyk acts humble but sometimes he blatantly lies which takes away from the credibility for me. In a mini game he was asked to stay silent if he is better than the boxer mentioned and say something if he’s not. He said Joshua and Fury were both better than him in the game. Clearly absolute nonsense.

People tend to act humble when they speak a language broken and not fluent. To know what Usyk is really like you’d have to understand his language.

No. I just think Usyk has what is called CLASS and won’t put himself above his boxing peers. Actually his good friend Loma is the same way. They both have class and integrity. Maybe that’s why certain US boxing ‘fans’ never really gravitated towards them. Class, humbleness, integrity… foreign concepts to some that gravitate more towards the mayweather, stevenson and ‘Tank’ type fighters.

And Usyk is Pound for pound #1  And credit to crawford because he actually said that about Usyk.

I love how Usyk is following in the path of Muhammad Ali, another Olympic and heavyweight champion who was very humble during his career. ;)

Part of me agrees. The quality of Buds counter, his poise and overall skillset. The other part has to factor in who you're fighting. Bud had beaten a lot of broken fighters. Certainly, on quality of resume, Usyk is tops.

In terms on integrity, Inoue has to be above Bud. He's active and scheduled to take on the most deserving challenger in Akmadaliev. Not a famous name but another solid fighter. If Bud beats Canelo things change a bit, but still, boxing is all about when you fight guys and Canelo - is if it's only by a bit - appears to be on the slide. If Bud somehow beat the Canelo of '21, imagine the response. Spot the difference?

If Bud wins his next fight then usyk just speaking clear facts, but now it's usyk who's number 1

Usyk is all class, pity about his muppet fanbase (some not all)

Also can't sleep on inoue. He's got time and he's smashing folk for many belts

Usyk is the definition of a humble class act. Unlike many of the delusional self aggrandizing unbearable egomaniacal hype jobs masquerading as P4P talents.

Oh damn, I didn't know Boxing started and ended with Heavyweight. Guess that Cruiserweight run was a fever dream.
