It will be like Fury v Chisora 2. However I think Usyk needs the fight against a top 10/15/20 heavyweight before jumping straight in against the elite of the division.

    Obviously AJ ctritics do.

It's logical that they make the Pulev fight first. If they vacated the IBF it will be a fight between a PBC and Top Rank fighter thus being harder to arrange a fight later in the year (especially if PBC). Whilst Usyk fights either Chisora or Parker, which is the much easier fight to make.

Chisora is ideal then for Usyk as he is around a top 15-25 type heavyweight.

Shot old delboy clearly being lined up for one of ajs big fights in 2020 so I doubt Barry Hearns and sons let BRUTHA USKY get to shot old delboy first. Guy has the all important “name value” with the sky supporters and will be in joshs top five wins.

Joshua, T Fury, Dubois, possibly Joyce, Wilder, Usyk, Ruiz, Whyte, Pulev, Hrgovic, Parker, Hunter, Povetkin, Kabayel, Ortiz, Kownacki, Bakole, Yoka...

And I’m a fan of Chisora. Buzz off his fights if he’s matched well ie. he needs a come forward fighter to shine. Gives everyone a tough nights work but will always struggle with the fighters with good footwork or significant height and reach advantage.

He’s regularly on matchroom shows and is well liked, but if you separate the personality & Matchroom plugging, you’re left with a 36 year old with a 32-9-0 who’s been beaten by fringe world level & more recently European level fighters.

Just reiterate, I enjoy watching the lad will continue to support him.

This version of chisora would batter joyce and dubois atm. Theres a reason dubois is fighting japanese guys no ones heard of. Theres also a lot of other names on that list that would be debatable fights against this version of chisora we,re seeing atm.

Hes had an up and down career. But we are starting to see a best version of chisora nowadays. Can he keep it up...who knows. This version is a good bit better than the one thats lost to guys he should probably of beating tho. Hes always been decent chisora...hes a good fighter atm tho. He arguably beat whyte the first time round. The same guy people are saying wilders avoiding.

He,ll give usyk a harder nights work than people think. I reckon he,d bring problems to joshua as well tbh. We,ve seen joshua touch and move against ruiz. But chisora is a bit more mobile than the version of ruiz we seen. Hes also hitting pretty hard atm as well. People sleeping on chisora a bit...looking back on a half can be bothered chisora.

I hear you, but I think Usyk having 1 or 2 proper fights at HW makes the AJ fight better.

He was fighting Fujimoto because his promoter wouldn’t cough up for a decent opponent and wanted to sell Dubois to Fury’s Love Island fan base. Dubois would ice Chisora, probably more quickly than Haye did 7 years ago. He’s got height and reach on Chisora, so has Joyce.

Chisora’s best days are several years behind him. He’s being marketed well and has had a bit of a Renaissance because of that. Put him in with someone who won’t move forward and trade and he will struggle. Remember how frustrated he got chasing Gashi around the ring, it was a dreadful fight which lost the crowd. Usyk has got height and reach on him and he will use his feet to step in and out of range. I would love nothing more than Chisora to pull off a shock but I know that Hearn is working his magic here and has got some people thinking that Chisora is back and can go for a world title.

I know why people say that but i disagree, Usyk is in his prime now, his style won't age well.

I don't think an extra fight post Chisora is going to impact that at all. I think his style will age fine, especially at HW where he isn't going to have to worry about cutting weight. It's not like he fights like Oscar Valdez

Not sure about that. He sets a very high pace and has a good output, you cant keep up that sort of pace in your mid 30s. Lets be honest unless he fights Joshua next it probably won't happen until 2021, by that time you would like to think they will finally sort out the AJ/Wilder situation, then you have Fury so realistically you could be looking at 2022 and he will be 35 and very much on the slide.
