Usyk could have KO'd Joshua in both fights.

Just to point out Usyk never said either what the OP is suggesting nor did he say what that rag of a "newspaper", The Sun, put in their headline.

No, there is no shame in that, he won convincingly. But don't you notice the fanatic fanbase attributes him all kind of qualities and not a single negative. We've a saying, can't do a straight translate to, but it's like "even God dislikes one who's too much of a saint".

    He didn't say that.

He possibly could, but it was never his gameplan, and if I remember correctly his corner cautioned him against trying to do so.

Joshua is at heart a dangerous counterpuncher.

No he couldn’t have. Cause if he could he would have. No fighter wants to fight 12 rounds. If he could end the fight early he would have. It’s like what they say “We don’t get paid for over time.”

Sounds like a lack of killer instinct. Thats a notch against him in my books.

He came so close in the first fight. The man wasn't even a huge puncher at CW so its understandable.

This has already been debunked. Ask your hero who himself is afraid to fight Usyk

Good point. Never try to outbox the boxer.

This is what happens when Usyk really goes in with the intention of punishing his opponent and really wanting to get them out of there

He's primarily a boxer and he was content to outbox Gassiev, Glowacki etc. But he entered the fight with a completely different mindset. It's not rocket science or it appears to be so for some

He didn't stop Hunter but he definitely tried to in round 12 and many refs would've waved it off

Briedis, Gassiev, and Hunter are extremely durable and have never been floored let alone stopped. They've never even really been badly hurt. Hunter campaigned up at SHW in the amateurs against giants like Belly, Roberto Cammarelle, Islam Timurziev, Fat Andy, Robert Alfonso among many others and was never stopped. Bakole couldn't drop or stop him. Neither could Povetkin, Kuzmin

Chisora is iron-jawed. He's fought everyone and their dog and only been stopped three times and two of those opponents who did so needed two attempts to get him out of there. Belly couldn't floor him in three fights

I agree in the first fight. If he needed a KO, he could have got one at the end. AJ was spent

Oh, like Usyk is a knockout master? How many of his top opponents he knocked out? Sorry, but there has never been a fighter who possessed all the skills: power, IQ, technique, speed, endurance and so on, neither does Usyk. Just let the guy be great without overexaggerating his boxing skills and character.

    Usyk-AJ: UD
    Usyk AJ: UD
    Usyk-Chisora: MD
    Usyk-Bellew: KO
    Usyk-Gassiev: UD
    Usyk-Briedis: MD (possibly unofficial draw)
    Usyk-Huck: KO
    Usyk-Hunter: UD
    Usyk-Glowacki: UD

As much as some of them are even some top fighters, but just good ones.

Usyk hasn't technically knocked down a heavyweight yet.
