    Excellent observation. The idea of those poor people getting a nice emotional boost, something for them to feel good about, is awsome.

    There were a couple events during those 4 years that MAYBE interrupted his matches. I'm thinking a world wide virus and a war.
    But I take your point; he isn't exactly Harry Greb with respect to number of fights.

    I was wondering about this myself. I'm assuming since we didn't hear about a purse bid being ordered they reached some kind of deal and are just finalizing it before announcing? I remember when AJ-Usyk was ordered back in '21, they were given something like a week to reach an agreement by the WBO before it went to purse bids, but the announcement of the fight didn't happen until about a month later.

    Course it's hard to say for sure when you're dealing with an organization that picks and chooses when to enforce their own rules, but that's what I'm leaning toward right now.

    So true, Greb, had more bouts in one year, than these occasional boxers have in their entire careers!
