Usyk is after Undisputed, is it that hard to get that? And while Dubois hasn't done anything, what have Wilder have done? Getting Koed twice in a row, and have 1 win over his best bud and sparring partner .... No one with his goddamn mind would have dropped that belt. Not to mention that if Usyk was to drop the belt, some trolls will be on here, explain how Usyk was afraid of Dubois. And while Dubois hasn't done anything, as we already mention, Wilder hasn't done a s**** as well. Usyk ain't fighting Dubois, cause he wants it, but cause he needs to, to keep his dream of becoming Undisputed. Also Usyk is legacy driven, so no way he will drop a belt like that.
You are spamming every single thread, and provoking people, making this place toxic, if anyone deserved to be banned, it's you. And it's all on you. As i have said it many times before, you are a semi-decent poster, when the topic doesn't include Fury.
I appreciate that he wants undisputed, but Fury has not given him much reason to be confident the fight will happen. If they do fight, the bout can be for zero belts and it will not affect the legacy implications. Everyone knows who the top 2 are, even if another paper titlist emerges. And there's a risk, low as it may be, that Usyk gets caught and whole thing goes up in smoke. Better for that to happen on a huge payday than the chump change they're going to fight for. Suggesting that Dubois is the same as Wilder is dumb. Wilder fought well twice against Fury and has 2 KOs over Ortiz, along with a much more durable body of work. Now look at Dubois's record. Moreover, beyond the competitive dynamics, Usyk would make much much more $ against Wilder than Dubois. That's objectively true. I'm really not even criticizing Usyk. I understand why he's taking this fight and also believe that he has made a good faith effort to get Fury in the ring. But he does have options and defending against bogus mandatories is just playing the game Fury wants him to play.
Dubois will cause Usyk many problems. He was very effective against Joyce in early rounds. Too bad he was inexperienced and acted careless against him. 2 of the judges said he was ahead Joyce until the KO ( This content is protected , 84-87, This content is protected ). He probably took Lerena lightly and almost had a road accident. Please don't underestimate The Dynamite. He is still young and strong like an ox. He will rough up Usyk.
Where did i say that Dubois is the same as Wilder ? I said Wilder did not deserve title shot, which anyone unbiased will agree to. And i already say neither does Dubois does, but he is mandatory, and that's the reason Usyk is fighting him. And Dubois is a young boxer, and will 100% give it all. People are too harsh on some boxer, and as well time after time, everyone have off nights. Dubois is a serious contender for anyone at the HW division, and a very decent name for anyone to have on the resume. Let's not forget that the story of invincible Juggernaut started exactly with Dubois.
Wilder is a former long-time champion coming off a first round KO - he's obviously more deserving than Dubois. I don't see what you do in Dubois. He has no significant wins and looked very shaky in his last bout against a gatekeeper. I don't dislike him but he needs a good win before even entering the conversation. Dubois/Hrgovic would be a nice fight.
Good to see Usyk back in the ring, as i don't want him to go into further inactivity, something that would appease his potential future opponent i'd imagine.
No he is not. Wilder is 37, and his whole career has been cherry-picking, and Fury was a cherry-pick goes wrong, cause he though Fury was finish, and he would have add a good name in his terrible record. Dubois at least have the guts to fight top guys, and he is actually very young, just 25 years old, and had plenty of future ahead of him. It's up to him, would it be good or bad. Again Dubois is mandatory, Wilder is not, neither he should be. Neither should Dubois be, but he is at least a decent young, and hungry fighter, that keep himself in shape, and it's very powerful, and can actually box for thing. And again Wilder is coming off 2 loses, and a win against his ex sparring partner, and his best bud. Take it as you like it. AJ is also coming off 2 loses, but at he least he wasn't KO/TKO twice. He also have a return win, which means the same as WIlder ones to me. Does he deserve a shot too ? I like him, but he does not deserve a shot. Will he deserve a shot, beating Whyte or whoever is in August ? No he does not ? If he beats Wilder comes December, yeah he will. Same goes for Wilder. And again i have already stated that Dubois shouldn't have been mandatory. And it's the reason Usyk is fighting him. No one with his mind would drop that title, and lose big levarage.
It's just the choice of opponent, a keep busy fight for Sasha, plus i'm sure it will be a great payday for Dubois, i'm sure that helps him a lot, on top of that i believe Fury would get a similar purse if he fought an opponent like this too for the same reasons, How much did Fury get for Chisora fight btw?
Don't worry you'll just have to wait for another empty article from BScene with the very same title "Wilder is weighing in options, will be back soon" haha This guy just sitting around juggling while the rest are getting to actually fight, Wilder & his company just need more time scouting on the side lines.
