Not a duck and if Usyk doesn't fight Whyte next, that's not a duck either.

Probably not a smart move to go straight into the top 5 looking for tear ups.

Come on we all know Whyte's next 2 fights are pretty much set in stone. Chisora next and then Joshua if he beats Chisora. Whyte was just throwing Usyk's name out there for PR, which is smart, everyone is talking about Usyk, so throw out your name when you have a fight coming up and generate attention for yourself and your next upcoming fight.

Usyk knows this, he knows Whyte is just doing PR and it wasn't a serious challenge with Whyte's next 2 fights decided. Usyk isn't the type to trash talk and get into twitter spats online. He does his talking in the ring.

    Yeah, good post.

It's incredible isn't it, Usyk has fought in his opponents backyard in his last 7 fights I believe, unified all the titles, defeated unbeaten world champions, former world champion..

Yet 48 hours after a huge win away from home Usyk is already a "ducker" because he hasn't openly accepted a twitter call out by Whyte who you righlty point out is fighting Chisora in less than a month and it's 99% certain (assuming he wins) will fight Joshua in April.

I am genuinely stunned at this one.

I've been busy with lots of other stuff for the last month, so have barely kept up with boxing or even been on here that much. I guess we can give Dillian Whyte credit for putting his mooted shot at Joshua on the line in order to give Chisora a rematch.

Something tells me Usyk isn’t in the business of ducking. I don’t see him having many fights at all before he goes searching for the top dogs of the heavyweight division.

My viewpoint has nothing to do with hating Whyte; I can't find it within me to hate any boxer -- even a journeyman fighter -- who has the bottle to climb into the ring knowing the risks involved and lay it all on the line. I simply don't get why some people are so high on Dillian and why said people are blithely buying into the Sky Sports hype.

As it is, I've been overly busy with lots of other stuff over the past month, so haven't really been keeping up with Boxing, and had no idea that the Whyte vs Chisora rematch had been made. But it has, so good on Dillian Whyte for basically putting his potential April 2019 shot at Joshua on the line by rematching the Chizzy Rascal.

You're dreaming if you think Whyte would beat Usyk.

He should stay at cruiserweight and make a name for himself there where he fights so dominantly. Moving up he will give up some of his physical strength and that will matter. It can be done but it is harder for him. Joshua wants to fight him, but that is a big size difference.

    Usyk has replied:

"This is the first time I've heard of it. I don't read news at all, because there is too much of me in it now. I want silence, I want to hide, sit, relax, be with my children, stay at home, walk from one room to another and smile."
