Well deserved from a great champion and great man

Hope he doesn't fight on too long, but he loves the sport and I think he will fight until he has nothing left

He's had a great year again

    well deserved

Beterbiev would have had a case if he fought twice and if he beat Bivol without any controversy. But its hard to make that case.

Canelo is great but he has been cherry picking so i can't see a case for him.

Innoue has a case but i think beating Fury twice is more impressive than the guys Innoue beat.

No one else has a case.

For me ? I'd give it to Dubois

Sure, Usyk won bk to bk against Fury, but he didn't annihilate Fury, nor did he school him.

Dubois has fought 3 times in a year, two of those times, his career at elite level was on the line.

He stopped the man who no-one wanted to fight in the unbeaten Hrgovic and then annihilated AJ, you could even throw his win in against Jarrell Miller, I mean it was on the 24th of Dec, 2023, and that performance is looking good after the way Miller fought against Ruiz.

Winning is not enough for me, I also take into consideration the manner of victory.

Absolutely well deserved. And by a country mile.

Usyk's as near to a model pro heavyweight, inside and outside of the ring as you're likely to ever get.

The only real contenders for this were Usyk and Dubois. And Usyk clearly deserved it because of how good Fury looked in their fights. Back to back wins over the guy who looks to be the clear second best in the division means something.

Now, next year? Some real chances for a non HW to win. Depending on his schedule (and if he wins them in convincing fashion), Bam could win. Canelo won’t do it, but if he fought Crawford and Benavidez and beat them both convincingly, he could win.

Proving yourself as an ATG especially in the HW division is no mean feat, and Uysk has achieved this. He oozes class in and out the ring.

Usyk is without question the best of his era, however I’m not throwing the ATG label,on him yet. The two biggest wins of Usyks career are up at Heavyweight and they are Joshua and Fury, beating Dubois is also looking good at this moment,I could see all three of them taking numerous losses in the 70s 80s 90s 00s eras to a few different fighters .

This is a pretty good generation IMO, and Usyk doesn't actually have much more to prove to be an ATG. I mean Usyk's biggest challenger is Dubois and he has already beaten Dubois. Also, can't forget Usyk had great success in the CWs.
