Damn I have to say Usyk looks ice cold He always does, but he seems even cooler than usual I'm not usually one to read too much into body language, but that guy is extremely confident. He's watched the fight back many times and Has found something he didn't know on the night I want to pick Fury, but it's hard to pick against an undefeated fighter with that demeanour Just a few weeks to go, roll on
Both have rewatched the fight a million times and I’m sure both will come with educated adjustments and traps
That's a great segment. I have huge admiration for both of these guys, which seems rare in here. Their differences in size, style and personality makes for a great matchup and this was borne out in fight 1 - a ripper. The one thing i hope doesn't happen is Tyson aging out suddenly, mainly durability wise. He should be right as he came back after being hurt and fought OK thereafter. I'd hate to see him shockingly stopped in 5 or 6 rounds tho. There's been concerns for him for years now however and he always puts them to bed. Here's to another great fight.
When they showed round 6 and Fury straight away says "check out the two uppercuts I land this round", then he says "boom" when the video shows the uppercut he landed on Usyk. This shows Fury has studied the tape. Which is a positive sign, hopefully Fury learned something from studying the tape of the first fight.
The showboating indicates otherwise. Usyk starting slower and lulling his opponents into a false sense of security, like his fight against Bellew. The video also doesn't prove much other than that Fury can't rattle Usyk mentally. So it essentially boils down to opinion (on both our part). Similar to the one you hold that Fury would pull out of both fights.
Worried for Usyk here. Hope he suprises me and finished what he started in the first fight... but hard for me to not lean towards Fury in the rematch for some reason. But war Usyk.
Again, the showboating was a built-in excuse, and does not show otherwise. He said before the fight that Usyk would be the best fighter he ever faced. He was not overconfident--the showboating was built-in excuse.
It's more than an opinion. It fits his inconsistent behavior and his subsequent citing "having fun" as the reason he lost. It may not be a "fact," but its a good scientific model.
