I know we all have out favourites. Bet the house on usyk Fury didn't spar, wasn't prepared, Bla, bla, etc This weekend has many fans split on the scoring. More seem to side with Bivol, but many also think Beterbiev did enough Now although I believe the fight in May was competitive, I don't think the result was in any way controversial. Usyk won Now unlike the majority I expect Fury to perform a little better this time and avoid the danger he had in round 9 I have a feeling this fight is going to be very difficult to score and this forum will go into a complete meltdown regarding scoring and who should have won I think this weekend was a warning for things to come!
I expect more of the same with Usyk winning the fight. it’s funny because I did think the Fury vs Usyk fight was closer then the Beterbiev vs Bivol fight but there was less of a debate who won.
With a better referee I would have been right the first time around, I'm sticking with my original prediction. Usyk KO9.
One thing is certain. Belly is used to fall down if bombed. He doesnt have the balance of Old Foreman. The problem are the referees who allow him to get up. I would like to see Usyk beating him badly, dropping him and have the chanche to finish him definetely. However what really matters is Usyk win. By KO or by decision it doesnt count. PS: if Usyk KO's Belly it will happen around the middle imo.
From memory I think I gave Fury 5 rounds in the first fight. Some people only gave him 3 or 4 which I get but it wasn't quite as one sided as people make out. Usyk the clear winner in a fight which was generally competitive. With that in mind Fury doesn't have to improve much to turn it around. One more round and avoid another 10-8 and suddenly he's looking at a draw... That said I still favour Usyk massively. He's got more in the tank than Fury who looks completely washed.
He was held up by the ropes so the ref was right to give a standing count surely? If anything he probably should have stepped in and given a count sooner but he seemed to be enjoying watching Usyk open a can of whoop ass
I'm starting to think so too Definitely will push him close at least If he wins? There will be many tears
Its surely a big boost for Fury that he can actually spar for Usyk this time, that should at least see Fury sharper and fitter than in their first bout. Andy Lee saying that Fury is going to come in heavier than the first fight, I think it's a mistake that every heavyweight comes in lighter when they face Usyk, it's like they are forsaking one of their main advantages over him. I tipped Fury to win the first fight but there was always a touch of the unknowns about it. I feel very confident that Fury will win this fight, I think we are going to see a very concentrated, motivated, and forward fighting Fury win relatively clearly on the cards.
Fury has always done a lot better in rematches than the original fights, let’s see if this continues with the Usyk fight in December. In a good sign Fury has disappeared and gone very quiet so let’s hope he’s locked away and training like f*ck because he needs to,on another note there is no news if the Father and Sugar are still in camp or have been shown the exit !
