It’s possible they were weighed earlier behind the scenes but then I assume HWs (open chq division as far as weights go) aren’t necessarily required to strip for accurate weight. Also, if they are their stripped weights, there was no reason to cover up and have us guessing as to what their true weights are. Well, no reason for Usyk to cover up at least - there are a multitude of other reasons as to why Fury should still cover up.
I'm 260lb and when I wear a leather coat with shoes, jeans etc I would be closer to 270 I bet Fury is really under 275 and usyk about 224
I think Fury was wearing lots of layers and deliberately disguised his weight so Usyk has no idea. He might be heavy, might be light. Also, last time he was everywhere in the building (turning up at other fights, etc. jetting back and forth to SA), I've not seen or heard a peep from him this time. Which suggests we might see the sharpest Fury we've seen in years... Usyk, as everyone knows, always comes in in fantastic shape and as sharp as can be. Looking forward to a great fight. Just hope its conclusive one way or the other and that there is no controversy. If Fury gets a dodgy decision I can well seem him refusing the rematch
I hope Usyk wins. A third fight will just put the whole division on hold. After 20 odd years to get a Unified Champion we’re back to this ****.
It's possible but remember Michael Buffer reading the scales wrong in Usyk Fury 1? 233. I suppose he could have been reading off a slip, but it did seem that he was reading off the scales.
Doubt It mate, usyk too good to get blasted out early, maybe a prime Mike Tyson could, but not Fury I want Fury to win, but I'm not confident
