Usyk - Gassiev potential to be an ATG fight?

    This fight has everything that is needed to make one of the best spectacles ever, both guys special talents, both guys undefeated, both guys fight aggressively and have completely different but equally aggressive styles.
    I believe this will be FOTY for sure but it could go further than that and be one of the unmissable boxing spectacles for the ages!

    Yep should be a good one. This will be the first true puncher at CW Usyk has fought , if he's really going into HW and gets hit it will tell us a bit more.

    If course he has to win here too....I'm assuming he can get a UD here !

    So many of these major fights turn into stalemates or a bit drab and safety 1st. But ive never seen either of these 2 show any tendancy than to fight aggresively. I think all the signs are there for this to be a hell of a fight and i really cant wait for it.

    Or Usyk will dance around like his life depended on it and pull the "I was robbed in Russia card" in a duller than expected "technical fight".

    Great fight and I can't wait but the fact this is in Russia makes this really interesting.

    Russia Vs Ukraine, this is far bigger than just your typical unification fight between two very good Champions.

    This could turn very ugly, I hope it doesn't, I hope it is a great fight, a clear winner and no controversy but I have a feeling this just might explode at some.

    Such a great matchup, and it is getting virtually no ink at all in the US. I think this is a can't miss fight and I can't wait

    Could be a great fight. IMO Usyk has too much skill, and that will limit things for Gassiev. Usyk takes a great punch. Best guess Usyk 116-112, no knockdowns.

    The best way for a great fight is for Gassiev to score a knockdown, making it close on the cards.

    Could be worse, it could be Trey Morrison v TBA couldn't it @GALVATRON

    That's a historical event for sure. The best fighting the best in their prime, without taking years to drag on with the fight and generate hype, as often the case with similar match-ups (Wilder vs. Joshua as a vivid recent example).

    I'd say that if you're not interested in this fight, you should really ask yourself if you are interested in boxing in general.

    No. This fight is almost guaranteed to be a let down. Usyk will run and box.

    Breidis was a legit puncher to me, of course not as heavy handed as a Gassiev.
