I think it will be a tactical fight, I think Usyk wins on points if he fights smart but if he brawls except him to get dropped and probably lose on points. I really commend these two guys, they really showed they wanna be the best. Who wins this is easily top 5 p4p and if Usyk win he’s in my top 3.
I think Usyk wil try to trade and will taste Gasiev's power but if he can out punch Gasiev and hurt him he will win but I have my doubts.
Gassiev is young, he isn’t a swarmer, and he’s a little slow of foot. I’m not sure he’ll be able to catch the rabbit Usyk. Unless he gets a couple knockdowns, most likely the judges will gift this to Usyk just for surviving. Hopefully Usyk has some pride and comes to fight.
I don't know if Usyk has the sense to make boring fights though. He apologized to Breidis every time the Estonian missed him.
Putting a 245lber, Manuel Charr, to sleep is not HW level?! As for the fight, I cannot wait. Both of the fighters have such credentials and are so likeable that it’s difficult to predict or even root for one over the other. Whatever does happen this weekend, I hope both of them continue moving upwards in the HW division. The HW division lacks in skills and these guys are definitely equipped with the skills, thus making it so fascinating to see how these slightly smaller heavyweights fair.
The only punchers in the division that hit harder than Breidis for my money are Gassiev, Dorticos, Kudryashov and Makabu.
Didn’t have to “Dance around like his life depended on it” did he doe??! Just boxed Gassiev up real good. He’ll treat HW’s even worse Hope you enjoyed that technical prowess Usyk demonstrated Saturday.
