Usyk gives Fury a 4 March Deadline

If Usyk had any wit about him he'd get ringside for Fury Chisora III, enter the ring post fight and kiss Tyson passionately.

All I see is ANOTHER EXCUSE from Usyk.

Mandem is fasting through April? MY GOD.

Can't fight in December because his shoulder hurts. Can't fight in April because his imaginary god hurts. What next can't fight ever because Putin nuked his country?

 

...and get it over with once and for all!

 

There's always some reason these heavyweights can't fight isn't there.

"cant fight in June sorry, I'm going to Majorca on holiday, catch up when I get back xx"

They're flakier than me when work colleagues try to arrange a night out.

 

If the fight doesn't come off, it won't really make much of a difference historically in boxing imo. If boxing ever regains at least some of it's former glory, this era will be viewed as a great low point, with lots of pretty belts and titles around, but severely lacking in fights, guys that can fight, & meaningful fights.

However, I would love to see it come off with a clear winner, to restore some sort order in the HW division!

 

All these excuses and back-pedalling from Usyk these past few months

- “I can’t fight in December”
- “I’m injured”
- “I need to spend time with my family”
- “I don’t see the Fury fight happening but I see a Joshua trilogy happening in the future”
- Something vaguely to do with “the war”
- “I’m too small for HW so I want to go back to cruiserweight”
- “I want to fight Wilder instead of Fury”
Etc etc etc
- And now “I’m an Orthodox Christian” lmao

I’m done with Usyk for now until he actually expresses unequivocal desire in wanting to fight Tyson Fury without any of these weird “but actually” stipulations.

I still feel like Fury vs Usyk will happen next year, but I’m disappointed at Usyk showing so much reluctance to fight Fury when he had zero reluctance to fight Joshua (or anyone else for that matter).

 

So March 4 is not reasonable?

So it's Ok for Fury to give 24 hour deadlines, but not for Usyk to give Fury 4 months?

 

Oh for the days when fight teams spoke behind closed doors, ironed out all issues and then voila tells public, boxer A will defend title against boxer B on a certain date and it happened.

Oh well such is todays boxing melodramas.

I don't see a problem with that. Fury fights Dec 3, can rest the rest of the holidays and the open up camp January. Fury needs to stay active anyways for mental & physical health so I hope ego doesn't get in the was as he like to call the shots.

 

Seems like Usyk is making obstacles where he says he can't fight in winter or most of the spring. So lets see if we can debunk anything for consistency. Looking at his record, he has fought in early & mid December before as a pro. He has also fought 3 times in April as a pro as well. So there you have it. I expect Tyson Fury to lash out at him again for this.

 

Nobody but you cares about fury chisora III , why would the best boxer in the world waste his time on that hoax ?
