Usyk has done next to nothing at HW, now he plans to hold up the biggest fight in history

    Usyk's heart could bring him to the 12th completely exhausted and probably injuried after one or two troubled KDs by Joshua. I cant see other scenarios for him now.

    IF Joshua wants Fury next, and Usyk and the WBO won't budge, Joshua simply dumps the belt.

    This fight could have been made a dozen times before Usyk ever moved up. AJ and fury will fight eventually. If it’s not next fight, you can’t blame Usyk.

    It would be a shame if its not an undisputed fight but its not like a single person will tune off because the WBO are not involved

    They probably lose out but to their credit are enforcing a rule
    We moan about ORG's when they dont so cant have it both ways

    The Tuscaloser was legitimately holding it up because even though he should be 0-2 against Fury they made sure he was contractually bound to fight him for a third time.

    And even worse, The Tuscaloser wouldn't dare do the one thing that Fury had done twice and he was expecting him to do a third time ie. be a real man and fight Fury in his backyard as opposed to making Fury return to the scene of the crime twice that he'd been robbed in in their first fight ie. the one where The Tuscaloser cherrypicked the drug-ravaged inactive shell of Fury thinking he was going to be too weakened by the inactivity and the abuse he'd put his body through during his three year bender and bouts of manic depression.

    But thankfully The Tuscaloser (who might I add has only beaten two world champions in 42 fights and one of them had been shot to smithereens for eons - 2-4 in their last 6 fights, both wins being bums, 3 of the 4 loses via KO - shat his pants and decided to duck the trilogy like a petrified female dog.


    Fury vs AJ would've very likely already fought each other had The Tuscaloser's judges not robbed Fury in their first fight.

    Usyk isn't holding anything up he just wants his title shot. AJ can simply drop the WBO belt and then the winner of AJ vs Fury can fight Usyk for all the marbles immediately after they've finished their business with each other because Usyk will be chomping at the bit to not only fight the winner but do so in their backyard. He won't duck AJ like The Tuscaloser did who ran in the opposite direction from AJ and a $100 million pay day at breakneck speed

    I know we all like the "undisputed" title, but AJ just needs to drop the WBO belt and move on with the fight with Fury.

    Usyk can fight Joyce for the title.

    The fight doesn't lost one iota of prestige because the WBO title isn't on the line. Everyone knows that the winner is the man in the division.

    Usyk should pursue whatever makes him the most money (or get a few million in some sweet step aside cash). There is little time for him and too many unknowns in boxing (Fury or AJ could retire, could drop the WBO title anyway after their fight, Usyk could lose in a tune up) for him not to.

    If an AJ vs Fury fight can be made AJ and Fury shoyld strike while they can, this opportunity may not happen again, then they can recover the WBO belt later if need be.

    Have Fury or Arum indicated that they really want AJ next? Have they really pursued that fight? I don’t think that was ever realistically happening next with COVID and Fury having some legal and financial issue. You don’t go from trying to fight Kabayel to fighting AJ. Usyk - AJ is a great fight, AJ is the face of the sport and Usyk is top 3 p4p, you guys entertain the shittest mismatches in other divisions but when it comes to heavyweights act like top match ups between top fighters are trash. Usyk would easily be a top 3 name on Fury or Wilders resume. Watch how you guys will trash AJ for fighting top mandatories then give Fury and Wilder a pass for choosing to fight guys that are not even top 10. Jokers

    that 'Tuscaloser' held the WBC strap for a half a decade with dignity and honor, and defended his title 10 times.

    that's levels above anything Fury, AJ, or Usyk have done COMBINED.

    you're damn right he deserves an immediate crack at his old belt

    Wilder is going to hold up Fury so it doesn't really matter. The biggest fight in history is on hold for the time being.

    It might end up being Usyk vs Wilder for all the marbles. You never know what could happen!
