Who caused that injury? Byrd deserves his due. You fight it out and the other doesn’t finish it’s on them.

Then again Cooper, Doug Jones blah blah blah.

    Exact same argument.

It was a tainted victory. Vitali came out of the fight looking the superior boxer.

    Vitali caused the injury.

Byrd is given his due, but it’s also silly to pretend he would’ve won if a rematch happened.

Are you mad the super heavyweight myth has taken a big blow ?

Fact is Cooper, Doug Jones etc. These guys don't fight like Fury nor are they big. Ali has beaten bigger guys that Cooper and Jones so the argument doesn't really work. The closest thing to Ali that Fury fought was Cunningham and admitted Cunninghams small size and movement gave him issues. All the stylistical issues Cunningham gave Fury, Ali excels at 10 fold

Vitali never wanted a rematch as far as I know. And Byrd caused the injury. It’s silly to think otherwise.

How could you possibly have thought that? I rank Vitali ahead of Byrd all time. But that fight hurt his rep something bad.

AJ had a terrible plan, he should embrace who he is and not try to be something he’s not. Whoever has got in his head that he’s a boxer and not a fighter did him a disservice. Had he imposed his physicality and really stepped on the gas who knows what may have happened. He tried to outbox a superior boxer and allowed the fight to be the only kind he could lose.

It was tainted, because Vitali was clearly winning, even if he lost every round he would of still won.

I said he came out looking the superior boxer, because he won the majority of rounds.

Vitali only lost nine rounds during his entire career, think he’s the only boxer that kept fighting until 41 that ever achieved that.

Vitali retired in that bout because he valued his shoulder more than a win against Byrd, which he clearly couldn't really have cared less about at the time.

The guy lost something like 8 or 9 rounds, like the other guy said, in his entire career.

I rank Vitali very high for his skill despite his very weak resume compared to his piers in the top 20. He was a beast. But the point still stands. Small men can compete w big men.

Because there are fights where guys do not miss punches, right? Byrd was thinking about ruining Vitali’s shoulder when he ducked that punch that you can’t even pinpoint when you watch the fight, right? Byrd made the other guys’ shoulders tear in all of his wins, right?

When you’re wrecking nobodies it’s easy to win every round. List out his five best wins and tell me you’re still impressed. Like I said before he was a beast but he really has a bad resume.

The argument is that you’re conjuring up Fury’s worst fight from while he was a prospect, now calm down.
