Usyk has no chance against Fury . . . NONE

Lets not disparage Usyk

We need to send him our energy so he can defeat the bodybuilder and provide support to his countrymen.

He's a very good man and him Vs Fury will be a fight worthy of the gods of war, regardless of outcome.

 

Lmao if you think Fury can outbox Usyk. His only chance is the illegal tactics of excessive clinching and holding etc

 

Underestimate Usyk at your own peril. Those of AJ fans who made the same mistake are still looking for places to hide.

Besides, Fury has stated several times that he wasn’t interested in facing the Cat. Hopefully he’ll share his confidence and steps up to the plate, should Usyk be succesful in the Joshua rematch.

I'd call it a 50/50 fight in ability and styles, but not in professionalism and determination. Usyk gets the edge in both of those.

 

If Usyk wins the rematch, Fury will probably drop the belt and flee to France or somewhere else like he did not to rematch Klitschko.

 

Fury v Usyk is a great match up and is certainly not an easy night for either of them

 

Usyk needed 7 rounds to stop a total bum in Witherspoon, he couldn’t stop old shot to pieces Derek Chisora who has been stopped multiple times before, he couldn’t stop AJ who was stopped before AND has an inferior chin, stamina, recovery and defence to Fury, but you think he will stop Fury?

 

He has no chance yet Fury is going to offically retire if Usyk beats AJ. That why he is waiting for the outcome of the result - the big dosser is a coward. Ducked Wald rematch now ducking Usyk

Fury could slip in the ring and do his ACL. There is no such thing as no chance.

I think Usyk has a much better chance than most of the casuals such as yourself think. We certainly know that if Fury doesn't take the fight he isn't confident of winning.

 

Usyk has fought much more skilled fighters at CW, let alone during the smateurs where he fought 335 fights. The only reason Fury has a chance of beating Usyk is his size, not his skill. Fury has decent skills, but fighting against Deontay 3 times doesn't make Fury into Sweet Pea because of the relative difference in boxing ability.

 

Well that is certainly true if Fury retires. Otherwise...

 

It's an exciting fight. I think one of Fury's best attributes is his ability to neutralise his opponent's typical offense. He has the ability like Usyk to make adjustments on the fly which seem to disarm the opposite corner. People talk about the snooze fest against Wlad, but for me that was just an example of Fury taking Wlad out of his usual rhythm. Same happened in Wilder 1, Fury limited Wilder's output considerably and set the pace to what he wanted to fight at. I think the most exciting thing about this match-up is to see if Usyk can dictate the pace against Fury, where others have failed.

This is going to sound a little one note, but I really don't believe Usyk will be able to overcome the size advantage Fury has. Also unfortunately, I think this retirement talk is partly to age Usyk by pushing back a potential fight with need of a tune up etc.

 

I love Fury and I love Usyk. Thinking that an elite fighter has absolutely no chance against another elite fighter is a completely ludicrous claim to make... The truth is, we just don't know what would happen fight night.

Even more so when said fighter decided to ''retire'' even though he accomplished virtually nothing at the weight. He beat Klitschko then had his problems and we never got a rematch. Then fought Wilder 3x. The only other time we saw him against another ''worthy'' contender was Whyte, which doesn't say much. No Usyk, Joshua, Ruiz, Parker, Joyce, Hrgovic, Makmudov (the last 2 I can 100% understand).

I mean, if you don't want to see that fight happen, and these types of thread usually indicates that, I don't see how you can love boxing.
