Usyk has no chance against Fury . . . NONE

I'm not the type of fan that typically roots for one fighter over another, but I would be rooting for Usyk if this fight ever happens. I love his attitude, he reminds me of fighters of the past that could be funny & crazy without being nasty and getting all serious.

All my rooting wouldn't amount to anything though I'm afraid, because my gut tells me Fury just flat-out blitzes him, stoppage within 3-4 rds.

 

I’m a fan of both guys and hope this fight takes place soon. It’s a tough fight for both guys and I agree Fury has so many physical advantages. Usyk has higher boxing IQ and has a great gas tank (as does Fury) and is a southpaw. Fury has looked great against inferior boxers but he struggles with southpaws. Usyk is a SLICK southpaw and will exploit this advantage.

I still have it as a 50/50 fight and a good one. I’m not betting on this one and my only hope is that it’s as good a fight as it looks on paper.

Joshua was the weak link and Usyk cashed in on that and yes may well do it again.
If he had fought Joshua a few years earlier, it could have gone differently.
Usyk is talented but there are a number of guys at HW right now that could beat him.
As for ATG, who in their right mind would put Usyk over Ali, Lewis, Louis, Johnson, Holmes, Holyfield, Frazier, Foreman, Marciano, Iron Mike, Fury...........

Usyk a live underdog.
Felt like he won the Joshua fight easily but his face was marked up.
Have to expect Fury to hit him more regularly and lean on him to sap his energy.
Think it will be tough to outbox Fury and get a decision over 12 rounds without slowing down due to accumulative damage and Fury wearing him down on the ropes/in the clinch etc.

Appreciate your pride in your son, John, but he's not considering retirement for nothing.

 

With Fury's new coach, weight and lack of movement, I now give the edge to Usyk.
Unless AJ proves otherwise, power and aggression has not been the way to beat Usyk.
A lean and fast and evasive Fury, even the one from Wilder I, would be much more effective I believe.

 

........ because Fury will likely retire rather than fighting him? That's the only way I give Usyk zero chance of beating him.

 

I can see Usyk doing to the Irish doofus exactly what he did to the much harder punching Joshua!

Usyk will stick and move and potshot Fury from different angles to a unanimous decision win.

 

Well Fury's mobility is clearly lowering with every fight. He provided just enough movement VS Whyte to upset the big lump.
Against Wilder in 1 and 2 he was much more fluid around the ring. So Usyks footspeed, handspeed, agility and skill will cause problems. Usyk issue Fury can genuinely box he's not just massive so if Fury can pump the jab and then make it an ugly sapping brawl inside Usyk will have to show us another string to his bow at heavy.

 

Sure, becsuse Fury is soooo consistent, and doesn't have issues with Usyk's style at all!

 

If that was the case Fury wouldnt duck him.
Proves he himself knows Usyk troubles him.
