To be fair Mark Fury changes his mind and talks nonsense and misdirects constantly. I think if AJ managed the upset I guarantee that Fury will be back straight away.
I believe that Fury believes he is retired. There is a 100% chance that he will fight again barring some sort of tragedy that renders him unable, but I do think that at this moment, he does not want to fight again. He knows that Joshua will not beat Usyk, he does not think that there is any money in Usyk, and there isn't anyone else out there who provides him with the dollar signs. Now, if by some miracle Joshua wins (he won't, but it...), or if they come throwing truckloads of money at him to fight Usyk, or, it Usyk beats Joshua and retires, and they give him a lot of money to fight a softie for a vacant belt...yeah, he'll be back.
It's just words. Usyk should box cleverly on the outside, if he goes inside he gives Joshua more of a chance. Usyk should box smart and counter.
If he was going to retire he would’ve vacated his WBC title by now. He’s just trying to draw up interest in a fight with the Usyk/Joshua winner.
I think the only real chance of AJ winning (fairly, No dodgy scorecards!) this fight is to go to war. I'm still convinced that Usyk wins this, all things being equal that is considering the troubles. What ever AJ brings this time around I think he has some success and there may be dramas but I'm going to agree with Eddie (Rabbitt, not Hearn!) here and say Usyk will find a way, This content is protected
