Will he ever pick up a main strap at heavy?

34 in January. Fought once at heavy.

fury looks to be going wilder then AJ (potential whyte spanner in there)

AJ has Pulev, then probably drawn out negotiations with Fury.

you have $1,000,000 Canadian dollars, you have to bet yes or no.

If he gets the opportunity before his age starts catching up with him I'd think so. Who knows how likely that is given the current climate. I think he could potentially beat any Heavy, outside of Fury due to size and style.

The only problem for Usyk is the politics in boxing and promoters protecting their golden geese from a real challenge.

I think Usyk will pick up one of the 4 belts in the next 2 years.

With Wilder Fury 3, Winner vs AJ, Winner vs AJ rematch, WBC vs Whyte - he'll only be looking to pick up a vacant title

I like him but i just cant see him as the heavyweight version of Loma. Bellew was tagging him in their match before being worn down. The heavy weight division are mainly tanks looking for a punchers chance and with Usyk they may well find it.

Oleksandr Usyk - I will say yes, but I'm not sure.
Kubrat Pulev - Not a chance.

Probably not, because the promoters will freeze him out of a title shot until he is game.

Weight disparity becomes less relevant the bigger the fighters are, though. A 21 pound difference between a Strawweight and Featherweight is huge, but a 21 pound difference between a 220 pound Heavyweight and a 241 pounder could mean nothing at all. Past a certain size it mainly just comes down to who is the better fighter and/or who has the styles edge.

The exception being a smaller Heavyweight like Usyk vs a massive one like Fury. Even though Usyk is the more skilled between the two, the size difference in an extreme case like this would be enough to at least nullify it. When you factor in that Usyk has no real stylistic edge, it's easy to favor Fury in that one.

The WBO will actually follow it´s own rules. In the coming 12 months, Usyk will undoubtedly get a title shot.

And if it´s for the vacant title, then I don´t see anyone in the WBO rankings beating him.
    Oleksandr Usyk
    2. Joseph Parker
    3. Daniel Dubois
    4. Kubrat Pulev
    5. Andy Ruiz, Jr
    6. Junior Fa
    7. Michael Hunter
    8. Evgeny Romanov
    9. Dereck Chisora
    10. Frank Sanchez Faure

Parker and Ruiz are the real threats, but I don´t see PBC letting Ruiz close to Usyk. Just makes no sense for them to do so.
Pulev is likely to drop in rankings and would Dubois team even entertain the idea of fighting Usyk?

Usyk could win a paper title. I've seen enough from the Witherspoon fight, that he needs a accumulation of punches to even mildly trouble his opponent. I can see a morbidly obese fighter trapping the runt in the corner, and beating him senseless.

I have a strong feeling that they are going to strip the WBO belt and have Usyk fight Parker for it.

    Yes.
