Sure. And let's just ignore that Usyk got punched by a few dozen legal body shots that did nothing to him. Heck, Dubois landed legal body shots even in the fifth round when Usyk was still just trying to get back into the fight, still visibly hurt.

This is the thing people like you tend to (or pretend to) forget. The damage doesn't just go away. If a body shot is legal but doesn't KO the fighter, hit the area again and they will get hurt again. Dubois landed more than thirty legal body shots - and the only one that hurt Usyk was the one deemed illegal by the referee (straight away, I might add, as he was standing some 8 feet away, directly looking at the fighters).

How come Dubois was unable to finish the job? How come he couldn't hurt Usyk with more body shots? After all, Usyk allegedly has a "glass body".

The reality is simple: Usyk's vulnerability to body punches is grossly exaggerated, and despite landing dozens of legal body shots, Dubois was helpless against a superior boxer. When Dubois was told it was an illegal blow, he didn't even react surprised. Forget protesting (because some Dubois defenders tried to sell the BS idea how he was a non-argumentative kind of guy, that's why he never argued with the referee - lol), he didn't even have a look of "what are you talking about, that shot was great" look on his face. He didn't even raise an eyebrow, gesture with his hands, nothing. He knew it was a low blow, it was written all over his body language.

We definitely watched the same fight.............that's why I'm so confused about this low blow controversy, fight was not close at all.

And Usyk has more pop than most think. Especially when he starts throwing with bad intentions. But yeah Dubois is FAR from Ray Mercer in the chin department.

I still say Usyk has enough pop to hurt Fury and possibly finish him late.

Only controversy now is the shameful bs that came out of the Dubois camp. Calling Usyk a cheat should not go unpunished.

Bro if he couldn’t stop Joshua no way he’s stopping Fury.

But… that wasn’t Pissed Off Usyk fighting Joshua though! ;) Fury has insulted him to no end and will amp that up in the pre-fight.

While I don’t see a Bellew type KO… I see Usyk wearing Fury down and finishing it with a flurry on the ropes after buzzing him with a right hook while Tyson is pulling away.

Fury has been put down hard and badly stunned by complete featherfists on multiple occasions. His chin is vastly overrated, like everything else about him.

At the end of the day… Usyk’s left hook >>> Anything in Cunningham’s arsenal. He almost took Dubois skull off with it a couple times after getting annoyed. lol Just missed.

Let alone how badly Pajkic floored Fury or Firtha wobbled him, both of whom make Cunningham seem like Mike Tyson.

The difference is, Usyk didn't want to knock Joshua out. Not only it was clear from their fights but he said so afterwards that he didn't look for a KO. Yes, that last round of the first fight was as close to a stoppage as it can get, but there's difference between actively looking to knock the other guy out and taking the opportunity should it present itself.

Usyk was angry with Huck and he was angry with Dubois. Look what he did to them. If Fury angers him (if he is not angry with him already), rest assured he is more than capable of hurting Fury too.

I don't know how he's still at #7 on boxrec. In reality outside top 20 after that display. The #!20 guy is Frank Sanchez whose win on Ajagba is better than any recent Dubois win. Imo Sanchez outboxes Dubois.

Fury BETTER NOT go out there ****ing around against Ngannou.:lol: Because if he gets clipped by him and put out… his days of even thinking about demanding 70% out of an Usyk fight would be way OVER. Even he wouldn’t have the audacity to try that. Lol Usyk could actually flip the script very easily. But I’m sure there’s a rematch clause in there. But even after getting that L back… Usyk could literally laugh at any ‘A-side’ demands from Fury

I think most people just confuse the ability to recover with chin. Fury doesn't have a particularly good chin at all. It's bang average at best. What he does have is remarkable recovery skills. He can be hurt and put on his a**e and you don't have to be a big puncher either to achieve that. But he will get up and be ready to go again by 9.
