Has he not recovered from the low blow yet? That was the only significant punch he took in that fight.

    Most camps are 8 weeks.

These "professional" journalists are useless DOSSERS

He did say he needs 14 weeks for camp but he's already training and yes some niggling injuries but that's what he is training through now hence the extra few weeks.

"I would like it to be in December but there is no certainty"

The Saudi's don't have a date yet because the venue is being built to a very tight deadline. They will push it back if needed.

Said he picks Wilder as favourite to knock AJ's bodybuilder head off.

So it's a bad source then. History is not in Usyk's favor though & I know glass balls take a while to heal. Everything seems like a bad time for him unless it's in the summer and only once a year. These fools will be 40 by the time they get anything done.

Professional boxing will ultimately become what amateur boxing is now, fights in small halls between guys completely unknown to the general public, with the roided elite fighting in one off big exhibition fights with all the razzmatazz

Also, as I said in the AK Wilder thread, how can you delay a fight that hasn’t been made yet???

No press conference, no venue booked, no poster, no delay.

Fury will probably try to renegotiate after his Ngannou bout anyway

I don’t think he said that? He said that he generally likes to have a 14 week camp.

Why should he fight Fury in December lol, there was never announced an official date from both sides

When was the last time a heavyweight boxer had two big TOP10 fights in 4 months?

    chill
its the fight of their life

Never heard of a 14 week camp before. I think Ricky Hatton used to have 12 week camps. I can’t see any reason a heavyweight needs more than 8-12 weeks. They’re meant to be professional athletes and staying fit all year round. They only need a camp to peak at the right time and get good sparring partners in. I don’t think he wants it and I don’t think Fury does either.

Fury's supposedly scared of Usyk, but Usyk needs a 3 1/2 month long training camp lol.

Well for month after month we have been swamped with Fury won’t fight Usyk,Fury is scared of Usyk,Fury is aging Usyk out,Fury is trying to delay the fight so Usyk has to fight his mandatories first,Fury is ducking the fight Usyk has agreed to everything including 30% (NOT),countless posts saying Fury needs to be stripped as he clearly won’t fight Usyk. These posts were from some respected members on here as well as the usual Fury haters, these haters who in hindsight now were posting away with bigger and bigger posts now have to stand by what they posted and no doubt would rather this Undisputed fight never takes place. Which brings us all to today and Usyk is the one delaying the fight in a familiar pattern of one Heavyweight fight per year as well as once more refusing a December date as he needs more time . Give Usyk all the time he needs so the best possible version of himself is in there to fight Fury for Undisputed, which goes with what most fans thought and that is this Undisputed fight takes place in early 2024 .

I'm sure he has a lot of weight to lose from all the partying going on in Ukraine.

14 weeks? To fight a fat man, GTFOH Oleksandr.

It'll be to close the Riyadh season in Q1 2024, December was always just the earliest anticipated date, very unlikely it was ever going to be 2023.

No one expects it to happen in December if it happens at all.

Firstly, Fury has to finish off his pointless exhibition move around with the wrestler, then the real date is agreed.

You can, but you won't because you're scared...
