As to Usyk he should struggle a lot. However if it happened Id be happy the same even if I think in an eventual their fight Usyk would win by decision, very likely by split. I consider Joyce a great fighter besides a balanced good guy outside the ring. Not a trash talker, humble, much training. Also Usyk.
Fury doesn't want that Usyk smoke, he'll drag this fight out until he feels confident enough to fight him which may be until late next year. War Chisorasaurus Rex!
Usyk has beaten AJ who beat Wlad and also is more proven than Wilder. Besides Wlad and Wilder, Fury's opponents have been Chisora quality or below.
People feel compelled to make Joshua out to be a great champion because it makes Usyk look better by comparison. As if Usyk needs it right. He's the undisputed cruiser, unified heavyweight, and (imo) p4p number 1. Beating Joshua twice is a good result but Joshua is for me the 4th or 5th best in the division these days. I dont accept 2 wins over Joshua is better than 2 wins over Wilder. If Usyk was fighting Wilder in March I'd be way more nervous for him than I was for either Joshua fight.
AJ is the entire reason Usyk came to heavy. Big payday and very basic. A big bodybuilder lump with slow feet. Not good inside. Poor stamina. Dodgy chin. Poor guard. As you state Wilder might be heavily flawed to most eyes but he just like Joyce has more to him than meets the eye and that touch of death is almost unavoidable.
He was an exceptional fighter before Klitschko. After him he has become a good (or very good) HW. But hes not a bum for sure. I criticized him many times all y' know that, but never thought he was a bum. Usyk beats a bum within 3/5 rounds in the Hws, Joshua at least lasted 12 rounds twice with him.
