Usyk "I will fight Fury with bare knuckles in the street"

    If Fury said this recently, I am no longer a fan. It is just vile to call out a man who has returned to his wartorn country, when his future is uncertain, his family in danger, and life on the line.

    As the rest of us check minute by minute for news on Usyk and the Ukrainian people, Fury calls him out?

    Yeah I know. It's a terrible predicament to be in and the worst possible timing. Had this happened a week or two earlier the option to pull out would've been easier for him but it literally kicked off a few days before fight night. The worry about your country breaking out into war must be heavy enough but knowing your wife and children are in danger hiding in a bunker over there must be absolutely awful.

    Neither would I.

    I often see new articles appearing on a rival site to this weeks after I've seen or read the interview

    Maybe but you missed the point. He’s not afraid of Fury or anyone. Usyk gives up size in every fight and would be giving up a lot against Fury. Usyk is a true warrior and will fight anyone. Not just opponents he knows he can beat, like too many boxer do these days. He’s not ducking anyone. If Fury never fights him, it’s because Fury doesn’t want the smoke.

    Usyk is choosing to fight for his country because he’s a brave patriotic guy. He doesn’t need someone to tell him what to do, he makes his own decisions. This is bigger than a sporting match, I hope he gets through it without being injured or killed as I hope the people of Ukraine get through it quickly.

    Yeah he's guilty of not thinking sometimes when in full troll mode and subsequently crossing the line at times but I don't think he would stoop that low
