Not strange at all that someone would be happy for several frustrating months of being dicked around by a coward to be over.

“I am very happy, by the way. Even though it sounds weird, I am very happy that this fight is not happening and I am going home.”

“You’ve got to understand me, I trained for three months straight. Then I get to come back home and spend time with my children and I just enjoy myself.”

“It was supposed to happen, God tells me this was supposed to happen.”

They all want the Saudi money over any conversation about legacy. Of-course Usyks happy he walked away from Wembley, Fury will be happy too. Just as Dillian is happy AJ removed the rematch clause and Wilder is happy the Ruiz Jr fight is delayed.
Saudi is all they want, and the fans suffer in the interim.

He wants to be active so bad, everybody around him is guilty of holding the fights.

Shambles, Shambles everywhere. So he's going to sit out for another year? Usyk never struck me as that type of guy to just wait around but hey he isn't exactly young and maybe he is done with boxing?

Bit confused by this comment. That quote about December is from last year, and he is fighting Dubios next month

My bad, was skimming. Never seen Dubs fight before, will have to check him out (I just really don't care about the heavies that much) everyone is just sitting around and getting older.

You aren't really missing out on Dubois. Probably I would just watch the highlights of his fights with Gorman, Joyce, Bryan, and Lerena

I actually think both fighters are not confident of beating the other. Usyk knows Fury is a man mountain who can actually box and apply pressure, unlike some other heavyweight lumps.

Fury experienced a slick cruiserweight sized guy in Cunningham giving him hell and knows Usyk would present him a super hard fight too.

That was LAST year, and he said he'd fight Feb-March.

Honestly usyk is one of a handful of boxers I think is always just being honest. It's a rare thing and I don't see why people wanna drag him for it. Most fighters would point fingers and ***** and try to maximize how tough they appear or their social media engagement. Usyk is like "honestly I'm relieved I wanna be with my family" and people think this is some "gotcha" moment.

The guys been fighting while his country has had a pretty brutal war going on. He doesn't have anything left to prove. There's no way he hasn't been impacted by that. Even if he got blown out by fury he's still a top 2 cruiserweight and a great heavyweight who has an amazing amateur career.

I’m sure he’s happy. Dealing with Fury must be a nightmare.

See, this is what I told you. You and your constant anti-Usyk agenda, always trying to find an angle.

This topic has been discussed ad nauseam. This five-month break that Usyk took last year was agreed on early in the year by both parties. Usyk didn't take it due to injury - he merely mentioned the injury as one of the things he was going to deal with. The break was going to happen with or without the injury.

And what audacity that he wanted 5 months off after he literally went to war, lost a ton of weight, regained it, spent months in a brutal training camp and defended his belts. What a waste of space, this Usyk, for wanting to rest a while after all this, spend time with his family - you know, all the things that Fury, by his own admission, had been doing for months while he was "retired". But it's okay. One doesn't criticise Fury for something that Fury does casually during his "retirement" but one constantly criticises Usyk when he does it with legit reasons, such as being involved in war, training and fighting, right?

But oh no, you are not a Fury fan. You just talk like one, think like one, argue like one and act like one by accident. Good one, mate.
