E-Hearn on Usyk's loss of weight Claims he'd not heard anything about it but he looks like he's telling snakey lies to me He also said it was ''good news'' This content is protected This is from 2 days ago This content is protected
I always said, his people should have advised him to stay away from Ukraine. He'd do more for his people's morale if he destroyed watford's big meech.
Well, four months down the line, all signs suggest that Usyk's resolve to triumph has only been hardened by the strife in his homeland. I don't feel like it's necessary to have excuses prepared for the guy. He has made a clear-headed decision to resume his fighting career and is evidently preparing for this rematch like a Trojan. He appears razor-keen and in sound mind, like a man who is aptly channeling any wartime anguish toward a laser-focused performance. If Joshua pulls a W out of the bag, he'll have earned it. Outside of his A-side status and the nominal advantage of size (which tends to become more of a telling factor when all other things are equal), to win here will require him to overcome on a number of levels. It'd be nice to see a big fight go off without a ton of excuses and rancor from one division or other of the fanbase. (Of course, if Usyk is blatantly stiffed in Jeddah, that's another matter.)
