Now watched 5/8 bouts and he just keeps on surprising. Turning into a big fan on his. Love his style, his head movement on point, his footwork's great, he has a good chin from what we saw today when Muller hit him with big bombs in the 2nd, he has good power, his jabs are on point, he goes in for the kill, he's incredibly agile and has great boxing ability. I love that in fighters, the boxing ability gives him a lot of brownie/+ points for me. Everything is great about him. Looking for more. Turning into a huge fan of his He needs to take care of his hair problem though. He has to constantly brush his hair back from blocking his eyes with his gloves.
His agility for such a big man is Ali-esque, now before everyone crucifies me, I don't mean he's as good as Ali, just that he has that similarly weird way of fighting like a welter yet being a heavy.
I don't care about catching heat for it, actually, he does a few things much better than Ali ever did... :conf
Looked excellent as always but ffs he needs to take a step up. The WBO has him at #2 with Bellew and Kudryashov at 3 and 4. Bellew will poosy out and we'll get the fight of all fights for an eliminator.
Kudryashov has scary power but I don't think he's on Usyk's level, really. Of course, given the shots Muller was able to land tonight, it may not matter how good Usyk's chin is, he'll need to be a lot more defensively sound with Kudryashov with his power in a completely different ballpark than Muller's...
Is he a slow starter or is he just not finding his rhythm very early because he's experimenting? In the second he was literally just throwing the jab, that was a decision. He's ready for the top ten anyway, no more fannying about if he wants a strap in his fifteenth fight. Cruiserweight Champion: Open 1. Yoan Pablo Hernandez 2. Krzysztof Glowacki 3. Denis Lebedev 4. Grigory Drozd 5. Victor Emilio Ramirez 6. Victor Emilio Ramirez 7. Krzysztof Wlodarczyk 8. Rakhim Chakhiev 9. Ola Afolabi 10.Dmitry Kudryashov
Yeah, pretty sure Bellew is gonna "carry his power" somewhere else. But Usyk vs Kud would be amazing. That seems to me like the fight for the CW division's future.
